    (((Hugs))) Jools. 3 weeks?

Healing vibes for whatever is causing the numbness MMM.

(Cheap) Healing vibes for cats with absesses.

Cards posted for foreign parts, lodger decluttered back to sunnier climes, kitchen dresser sorted and dusted while OH did the hob listening to Simon Russell-Beale as Smiley. Too good to leave the room for even a second. Afterwards OH was inspired to do the Dy$on tango on the top two layers and I've sparkled the shower room which badly needed a real scrub. Now depewified and smelling of bleach or vinegar, depending which bit is in use. Two loads of washing run through WM, both out on the line. WM going through heavy duty hot vinegary-type cleaning programmes.

New computer ordered and paid for *ouch* as security updates no longer work for the operating system and it's my main workhorse, and apparently that means I need a new screen as well. *ouch* *ouch* *ouch* Christmas is therefore cancelled here and OH will be having bread and scrape on the day.
    Better is good enough.

I don't think 5:57 am is late, KK :rotfl:

Haha, I meant because it is Tuesday (I think?) I've slept 5 hours in last 48 hours so not much flying getting done today... Going to crash any minute I think!

    Happy flying all!

  • Afternoon everyone :hello:

I didn't think I'd "see" you today but I've just been to the house of a potential new customer at the time I arranged yesterday and she wasn't in  I called from outside too, but no answer; very annoying as I was in town before and cut my Christmas shopping short to go. I could've been finished by now! (That's such a lie, I still have loads to buy :o)

Might as well razz the vac around seeing as I have 45 mins before DS1 gets home. DH will be home early tonight as he has a doctors appointment; he had a blood test as the optician found a spot on the back of his eye, his Us and Es are abnormal and they're concerned about his kidney function :( Feeling apprehensive is an understatement.

Love to all poorlies etc xx

On balance, I think I'd like to bash their heads against a brick wall - might knock a bit of common sense and compassion into 'em!:D

    OK, what've I managed today....

    • Breakfast washing up done.
    • Towels and hankies washed overnight hung outside.
    • Legs defuzzed (I was beginning to look like a genuine wolf):D
    • Whole bungalow Dys0ned.
    • Dys0n divested of waist-length red hairs wrapped around brushes.
    • HHWiiFit done.
    • Mail taken to post office for dispatch
    • Item of post (looked like a Xmas card) dropped by postman in our driveway delivered to correct house (20 numbers different from ours and in a totally different part of the close).
Doesn't look a very impressive list, does it?:(

Dusty I hope Woody's a bit less cross and sad than he was; ten pounds to a dog biscuit it was a war wound that got infected, hey?

We've got a new landline phone that needs installing (old one has died the death). Not sure why we're bothering, as we don't accept calls on the landline at all, and only use it when Mr LW has no choice but to dial an 0845 or 0870 or similar; but we got it effectively "free" (used @mazon vouchers from online surveys), so no actual cash money outlay.:money:
It'll involve a lot of poking about behind my desk, though; I'm hoping it can be done without moving the whole desk out, which is quite a major operation.

(((HUGS))) for all who are stressed/sad/ill/otherwise out of sorts.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    :rotfl:love this idea

Completely agree, he is back to sad now. He has gone to lay with fluffy cat who is naughily sleeping on the LR sofa but know the rules have been relaxed since Dusty took ill, he is an opportist

You have done more than me, I've put the WM an DW on - that is it.

Been shopping and now whacked out, I am definitely not myself.

Going to do a little online shopping to avoid going to the real things too many more times then I have to go and collect some flowers for tonight and pop into sainsbugs.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • And me - I've done some washing and been to work.

Was up at 1am as DD2 was being rather ill - a not too brilliant end to her birthday. She is still struggling with a cold after 10 days...

I am virtually not functioning atm... don't really know what is the matter. Away to mum's to see the new place this weekend and I seriously don't want to go - at all. Just want to stay here and plough through the treacle that life feels like...

CY: I don't know if it's any help, but there's a lot of it about down here. From Him Indoors to co-workers, we've all got a touch of the "meh's", that's those of us without coughs, colds etc.

Just checking in for a catch up, not that I've done anything today (other than paid stuff). Got the last of my big pieces of work submitted today :T so just itty bittys left, and one for new year to think about. Should make my last few days in fairly peaceful.

We have our team lunch tomorrow. Just need to think how I'm getting to work as I don't want to take the car, and the buses are hopeless. But I need to be in for no later than 9.

Right, promised I'd pick DS up early, he had a little wobble yesterday and needs some mum time... :A
