Monday ~ Grotty Kitchen and Gloomy Dining Room
15 minutes...
Declutter and mop/vacuum floors
Tuesday - Luscious Living room, hallway, stairs
30 minutes to spare...
Vacuum the stairs and hallway
Yesterday night I decided to wash the blinds, so far I have done living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom, all these windows have now also had a good scrub inside and out.
Before Christmas I would like to get my living room carpet cleaned, my OH likes the idea of hiring one from Mozzas and doing all the carpets our self but I just want this one done properly and sharpish.
Skinty, I know you have been busy at the mo, but did you book your smear? I haven't done mine yet I am going to do it in Jan or beginning of feb also you mentioned checking the top boll-ocks every time the fire alarms are on the list have you remembered? x0 -
Gosh, has everyone got the coughs, sneezes and *meh*s? OH now sniffing and snuffling around feeling sorry for himself. Healing vibes to everyone feeling under the weather.
Both letting rooms turned around, another load of washing shoved in the machine ready for tomorrow morning and kitchen tidied. House looks vaguely presentable which is just as well because we have an arrival today.Better is good enough.0 -
I've been to town, printed the form for the exam and filled it in. I called at Mr T's on the way back as they have DS1's fav cheese on offer and stocked up.
Collected DS2 from school, made a hot drink for both of us and just spent 20 min practising Silent Night in German to a youtube clip. I'm not a great singer, but we had fun. Had to find a version sung by a bloke, though, so it was low enough.
Now for HHC LR floor clearance before making a start on the dishes. :T0 -
Flowers got
Water cartridges recycled
Small food shop done
DS3 secret santa and snack bough (forgot the drinks)
DS3 has lost his phone and is being a PITA about where and how.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hello, reporting in late today.
DS1 missed his bus to the orthodentist because the sky engineer turned up to repair DD1's connection. The same connection that was fixed the night before by a family friend. DD1 didn't cancel  Poor DS1 had worked a full night shift and was a 'bit' tired. I had to go to work so could only take him part way to his appointment. I went to work and when I got in he had just got back. 2pm! He's now gone to bed to get 5 hours sleep. I worry as he sleepwalks when he gets overtired.
I looked after my friend's 2 boys, took DD2 to her dancing class and cooked dinner twice for the different sittings. About to cook for DS2 before I wake up DS1.
DH is on his way back from Liverpool. Sat nav says 9pm so I'll have to go out again to take DS1 to the direct bus stop in the next village.
I am a taxi for my kids!
My employer has got a 3rd dog and the bl**dy creature jumped up at the worktop and grabbed my lunch. I wanted to smack it on the nose. She just said naughty dog and left it at that. I am not impressed and I'm very hungry!
Flying has been limited to putting the WM and TD on. I feel like I'm running at full speed to stay in the same place.0 -
Well not much has been achieved here.
My bed stripped, I've had a bath and we've been to Mr A.I've sorted my nephew out for Xmas, bought some more sticky tape, tinsel & new lights
I paid the extra for connectible ones and I now have enough to go around the room, so just need to get another set for the tree now
I've only wanted to do this since we moved in here in 2004 :j:j
Plan for tonight is to get my christmas cards written. DD did hers last night. Then I have a little bit of work to do, and I'm going to try and get some flying done since I'll loose tomorrow to work.
I best shift myself otherwise I'll not get stuff done in time.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Oh dear. I still haven't done anything. Unless you count playing hot wheels, doing jigsaws and watching the muppets
Think I'll do a hhc at 7.30 - anyone with me? Will empty DW and straighten kitchen and LR. I have sorted our bags for morning, actually.
Also need to get some clothes out for littlies, MIL taking them to a party tomorrow afternoon. DD will need a snack doing too...
