Group BD appointment decluttered - actually went well. Operation Find Keys was dissected, so hopefully a 3 day meltdown will be avoided if a similar incident happens in the future.
Roast in Oven as we speak.....once it cools down I am planning to fish the oven bulb out that hasn't work since EX left (and do the two in the cooker hood at the same time) then get the oven off Listy.
Making another batch of Vegan cookies for DD3 in a minute while oven it hot....time to chuck potatoes in oven for my famous roasties......back later to try and get a clean sweep :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 - Get those last minute cards and presents posted!! send my customary email to new found family in NZ & Aus soon

Happy birthday to juliejim and to CY's DD2.
Nice jumper, mrs-mp :cool:
Well done, Mumto5, re your DS2
DH and I have been working on our respective tasks all day and we have achieved quite a lotJust having a little break now, after balancing at the top of a stepladder (held steady by DH) for half an hour to put up a curtain pole on the half landing. No, it wasn't on my original list for today, but I got fed up trying to step over and past the tools and stepladder
Having recovered both my breath and my equilibrium, I will make a :coffee: for us both and then carry on hanging the curtains and light fitting0 -
Hello!

9 days and counting.
Haven't made it to Aldi; DD hasn't gone to Ju Jitsu
BUT
I HAVE SURVIVED MY FIRST NATIVITY.
Clothes from maiden taken upstairs. Came home to tea cooked (I love my slowcooker) and a demand for extra council tax. this has been met with a swift email pointing out that my children are students so I am entitled to single person discount.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Do I have the oven professionally cleaned and twinkled before or after Christmas???
For me, it would be after. Nice to be clean for Xmas and everything, but I'd only trash it again... New year might have less chaos to be able to keep on top of it for longer...9 days and counting.
I HAVE SURVIVED MY FIRST NATIVITY.
:rotfl::T
Edited a couple more toy drawers, one small bag for bin, bigger one for CS. Sorted dinner for 5. DD ate loads despite being fed at nursery. DS ate nothing despite having a swimming lesson first. But he was in a strop about something to do with a chair *shrugs*. I enjoyed mine, thougheven if DD did steal some of my bacon ( she had two, then pinched one of mine, so I only had one
)
Anyway, we are cleaned up after eating, kids zonked, bags ready for morning. I'm having an early start.Bossymoo
