Good Morning,
So far today I have written out most of my Christmas Cards, only my local friends and neighbours left to do. Tidied the Dining Room Table and put a clean cloth on. Up to date with the washing from the weekend and put the luggage and bags away. Tidied the living room floor, now to tackle the dark junk corner where the Christmas Tree is to be placed.
This afternoon will be spent ironing.
Have a great day one and all.

Glad my emu made some of you chuckle! As I was WU I did find myself wondering how it might be mating if there was only one
The mind boggles.
My kitchen is DONE. I even managed to completely clear the hotspot behind the door; I always tidy it but rarely clear it all away. I feel much better for seeing shiny tiles and tidy surfaces; can't believe it's taken me 35 years to figure out that I'm very much a tidy-house-tidy-mind sort
Time to sort and tackle some laundry, pick up the gibble from the boys' bedroom floor and have a look at the ironing pile. I know there's a tonne of underwear/socks and a couple of pairs of fleecy jypamas so I'm hoping it won't take as long as I feared.0 -
Ebay parcels done.. When I looked I had sold 2 more items so a further £70 in my paypal.. over £200 in there now!
And as yet no idiot buyers... one very lovely one though.
Christmas boxes to go upstairs today too.. then I can address the remaining clutter.

Well 4 hours later and the kitchen is complete, except for the oven, need to pop to the shops and get some cleaner. Feeling very pleased with myself
I have also phoned OH and told him if he drags his muddy work boots all over the kitchen floor on his return from work then there will be big trouble!!
Now to tackle the porch and then a trip out to treat myself to some new tea towels and oven gloves.
Happy cleaning peepsSPC9 #5070 -

Slight detour from list, having a quick stock take on supplies for work. If I get this done today, then the order thats due to be place on the 19th can be put on the system and I can breathe a little easier & concentrate on getting house & Christmas sorted, in particular DD's xmas gifts before she breaks up
Not much to do, its just counting bags and working out how many I need to order for the year (one big order now means I don't run out unexpectedly in theory
). I've already saved myself money as I was going to order loads of paper bags & just found a few new packets of them
Think I'll watch some TV while I do this, it'll make something very monotonous more bearable :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Well, I achieved about 250 words, so getting there. I really need to finish it off tonight.
I have had a letter from the credit card company re my missing payment of £750. Apparently it was credited to the account I quoted, and they need their permission to debit it. Huh?! On further investigation it would appear I have accidently paid my BIL!! We owed him money earlier in the year, and it was his account number I had on internet bankingI have spoken to him, & he noticed yesterday & had queried it. they are refunding it, so hopefully it will come directly back to me. I am such a numpty!
Mystery solved!
Not much flying here. I have asked DD2 to empty the DW, but she appears to have gone back to bed! She only got up at 11!! I am going to clear the dining table of Christmas tut, and start preparing the kiddies' dinner.0 -
