It's not too bad. I like it because I can fit it around my treatments and medical appointments. Also, if I'm not feeling very well, I don't feel under pressure to do any work.

Keep an eye on the website and sometimes they do hire in the UK.

Work done for the day (well, I finished a couple of hours ago).

We're going to see a bed tonight. OH's aunt and uncle bought a bed a few months ago but can't get on with it. It's king-sized, which we really need. OH is a big lad and when we sleep in a double, I don't have a lot of room and also when he gets into bed, his side goes down and mine goes up, which means it feels like I'm sleeping on a slope.

Anyway, this bed also has a split mattress, which I think would eliminate the problem. I don't know how much they want for it, but knowing his family, it will be a lot. More often than not, OH is sleeping in the spare room at the moment so I can get a decent night's sleep.

Hope we don't have to stay round there long as I need to wash my hair tonight.

You and I think like that Lou, OH's family definitely don't.

They wanted £500 for the bed!! It's not even a king sized. It's 2 doubles pushed together!! They said they paid £1,300 for it. I seriously doubt they paid that much. Needless to say we're not having it!

According to his aunt, I'm looking unwell too. Duh, I've got a serious illness and am on several different drugs. I'm not going to look perfectly healthy.

    Anyway, night night.

  • Nuts I was hoping the bed would good! (also thought they should give to you!) had a quick look at Argos cos I am that classy, Kingsize beds go down to 650ish but couldn't see any split mattresses. Would there be any mileage in two singles strapped together :) Hope the meds go well hon Love Buffy xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hi Buffy :)

We told his aunt and uncle that Argos would do a bed cheaper than what they are being quoted (she said she went to Dreams the other day and they quoted her £2,400 for a new one!! - either they can see her coming or she's getting a really good bed!!).

We're not too bothered about a split bed to be honest, we just need a bigger one than a double. We had a king-sized one in the old flat (which I really wish we had kept and bought with us, but hindsight is a wonderful thing) and we slept fine on that because there was more room.

    Hi Stressed :)

I found that one on Amazon and showed OH. This is why I doubt they paid £1,300 for their bed. I think they inflated the price so they could get more money out of us.

So glad I come from a family who look out for each other and give things to people instead of trying to get as much money out of them as they can.
