No more 1am fire alarm drills last night thank god. We got one of OH's mates to come over yesterday and take it off the ceiling for us. At least it meant we could have the lights on!!
OH took me to see 12 Years a Slave last night. Very good film, but extremely difficult to watch. I hope it does well at the Oscars.
Need to try and get out of my funk today. All of my meds are done, time to get down to some work.

We've got an electrician coming over at 9am tomorrow to fix the smoke alarms. I think he's going to replace them.
Just found out I'm going to the hospital on my own on Friday because my mum is getting her hair done at the same time. Bit annoyed she won't change it for one week, especially seeing all the running around I have done for her with hospital appointments lately (and she has another at the end of the month). It's not nice going to the hospital on my own, especially as I've got to wait around after I've taken the new antibiotic to see if it affects my lung function.

            Afternoon everyone
I'm still feeling very tired. Not sure if I'm coming down with something or if it's just my illness taking it's toll on me (I am approaching 33 after all, which is old for someone with CF).
Hospital tomorrow and my mum has agreed to change her hair appointment so she can go with me. I didn't ask her, so she must have realised that it annoyed me.
OH is going away this weekend on a stag do, so I have the house to myself . I'm going to watch movies and catch up on my sleep - that's the way I roll . I'm going to watch movies and catch up on my sleep - that's the way I roll
I'm thinking of starting a Day Zero list again (101 things in 1001 days) as I just feel like I'm going from day to day at the moment and not actually doing anything with my life. I'll post it on here if I decide to do it.

Thanks Lou :A - hospital a bit of a waste of time. They are putting me on a Tobramycin podhaler which I tried when I stayed in hospital in October. So I didn't actually need to make the trip there after all . The podhaler is extremely disgusting. I am told I will get used to it - I think not.
Anyway, have to admit I am pretty crushed right now. I have been looking forward to watching Michael Fassbender on the Graham Norton Show all week. I recorded it last night, just went to watch it back - and he wasn't on there!! :wall:. I'm so disappointed
At least Andy Murray won :T

Thanks Buffy :A - he's so lovely :grinheart
Not the best day for me unfortunately. I had to take my mum to the hospital as she started coughing up blood. The doctor thinks it's coming from her throat though and not her stomach ulcer or lungs (thank goodness). I get that sometimes where I cough so hard, I burst blood vessels in my throat. Not pleasant.
Annoyed with my sister who couldn't interrupt her planned bowling trip to take my mum to the hospital, even though she lives much nearer than I do and my mum called her first. She basically passed the buck to me so she could still go out. Not impressed (not that I begrudge taking my mum to the hospital, just seems that I'm always the one doing it and yet I'm also ill - think my sister forgets that!!). Just hope I haven't caught anything from the people in the waiting room . .

Uh oh - My OH has just been told he's being made redundant. I don't know the full details yet as he didn't have much time to talk. He has been there for around 10 years though, so will hopefully get a good payout.
I better get my a$$ in gear and earn some more money. I might be the only bread winner for a bit.
