The size of a small elephant:D
To be honest, I quite liked it too. Probably more than my current weight - but I prefer not to die which was probably the choice at the time...0 -
Phew, just the right amount of lights!0

I mentioned the other day the wedge... and its thin end.... well ... this Xmas tree.....
I now want: a small table to fit it onto, a Xmassy wrap for the table, a Xmas bowl, some chocolates to hang on the tree, some chocolate coins to scatter round the base of the tree, a couple of tangerines for the base, some walnuts, find my walnut opener and get it out, some tinsel to wrap around the base/legs, some paperchains .......0 -

Now I know ... I was seriously underestimating how many bulbs make a Xmas0 -
I like the tree, and I like the lights, but it needs tinsel. And baubles. And, if you can get away with it, glitter.
We're in the midst of an artificial tree vs real tree dilemma this year. We've always gone for real trees in the past, but this year we are getting very tempted by the (possibly satanic) lure of the artificial.

Just looked for batteries, but was overwhelmed .... it's easier to buy some new ones. Bearing in mind the boxes are stacked 4 high and are in a row 7' long, and they're not even-sized boxes (or all even boxes), one's met with a neatly stacked wall of boxed goods..... but which one would contain, potentially, a small pack of batteries. So I'll get some tomorrow
I'm stringing balls right now.0 -

I don't do tinsel at all. I made N oversight on that basis and didn't purchase any. Sorry pastures!
Watch out to term. DH doesn't share.....but if he did interesting and kind are two of my top qualities to look out for....0 -

No glitter... not got a working vacuum
Edit: Now added about 10 balls ... and a bunch of green straigh dangly things (no idea what they'd be called) ... same material as baubles, but called "icicles", so vertical drops.0 -
OK, I've now broken through the magic 75lb weight loss from my heaviest. Only another 25lb to go... at Christmas... when the mince pies are calling out "eat me, eat me..."
Dammnit
Congratulations - you also have a cast iron excuse to "save yourself lots of money" in the sales buying a whole new wardrobe of clothes that fit you.
I fear I'll also be buying new clothes next month, but that's because my old ones won't fit for much longer. I suppose I'm lucky to still be able to wear my normal ones, but spending money on something as nasty as maternity clothes isn't fun....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Lots of love to you and Mr. Bugs, Bugslet. GDB said it perfectly, so WHS....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
