Maternity clothes? I didn't know that. Congratulations! That's wonderful news :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
So I haven't been able to speak to nina's GP version of a vet so I have provisionally booked surgery with her ( she is experienced and she said something about surgery with her or the head GP style vet on the phone yesterday, either of who. I'd feel ok with, the head GP vet is the (marital) partner of dog dogs excellent bone man and the business partner in the practice, so I think great. They are both meant to be the more experienced surgeons there.

The only problem is, the only surgery gap left ...Christmas eve. dramaorama.

I'm going to say, that if it looks like the tip of the iceberg that I'd rather they just don't wake her up from the GA rather than wake her up from the surgery to take her back in just a few weeks, but if they think she would have a clear couple of months then that's fine, we'll go head and spend them with her.

Even when it was just the back, not the cancer I was saying this was her last Christmas.

I don't do tinsel at all. I made N oversight on that basis and didn't purchase any. Sorry pastures!

Watch out to term. DH doesn't share.....but if he did interesting and kind are two of my top qualities to look out for....
Tinsel can be nice... I like to use 2-3 lengths of it to hide the feet/base of an artifical tree. I just pool it round the bottom. I can pick some up easily enough at the 99p shop.

    ...Christmas eve. ...
Tough decisions, unfortunate timing.... I guess if FIR is home for 2 weeks it'll make the time easier to endure for you.

I know you'll do what's best for big dog and animals don't know it's Christmas or that things aren't looking too good.

I bet there's a market somewhere for single blokes' Xmas tree decorations. A box that contains not balls, but gaudy beer and pie shaped miniatures.... and a spray that smells of beer and sweat and not cinnamon.

Xmas lights shaped like footballs, in your favourite club colours. Maybe even the tree too.

Or just a blow up stack of beer cans shaped like a tree.

    :j

Probably! At least it's not keeping me up at night crying - just getting me up regularly to throw up / pee more often. Result!

It is unlikely that any man who had ever possessed one of those would be "my type" ... and if, against the odds, he were..... that thing would NOT pass over the threshold of "our" house. It'd be "me or the tree".
