You must be really, really, really flexible. The closest I can get my feet to my mouth is about 30 cms, and that's one at a time. Keep practising the yoga, PN.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

When I was born my mother hated it, hated the hospital and felt one sick, or at least wanted to leave here for the first time,
She had to stay in because I was a ceaserian . She wanted to discharge herself and my dad said she couldn't leave with his support till she could get her big toe in her mouth. Next day he came in she was sitting, both toes in her mouth and modesty long gone.
I don't know whether he supported her getting out or made her stay or what.0 -

That is the most amazing story.
I must fund out sometime how it ends....when she broke free.
She's only tiny, her legs are short and thus toes aren't that far from her mouth to start with :rotfl:. In same vein, her best friend had to be called by my father to give the news of my birth, and he asked my father the stuff like weight and length. I think I was about 21 inches long. To which my mothers friend sniffed in a camp manner and said, 'taller than her mother then?' :T:T. ( I got his -gay sort of god father's - sense of humour I hope, sadly he died of a 'lifestyle related illness some many years ago now. He was also responsible for the huge feature in my life of plastic sheets, which we used to cart round the world with us, because he somehow convince my mother he caught it 'in bed' some other way)0 -

You know when you start a sentence/conversation, then never finish it and realise later.... it occurred to me that when I asked your ages and Lydia said hers and I immediately said "OMG - that's really old, how do you feel about that?" ... that I was actually joking as I am clearly the oldest. I do hope she didn't think I was just being rude.
When I said it, we were all supposed to laugh at me.0
