I basically went through the searches etc that the solicitors had sent to me, and the surveyors report and listed any questions/ comments that I had...
Bearing in mind I was operating under fairly high levels of stress at the time (11 days until I had to finish typing a rather large document...) so it wasn't as coherent/ concise as it might have been
Thanks Nikkster! Something to [STRIKE]look forward to[/STRIKE] prepare for.;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

ETA: if we choose Doozer, she can interior design the new gaff and make it look fab. She did say only a few pages back that she was lacking the opportunity to use her creative spark. Doozer, please, pretty please...
Who's started the previous ones? I've lost track.lostinrates wrote: »Recently, a couple of weeks ago, I accidentally upgraded macputer to os7.
It was a huge mistake. The calendar in particular is pants. Its too sensitive and fast and too hard to get accurate times and dates in and i notice its not saving all my entries accurately.
I have a vet appt tomorrow I think at ten, but its a bit of a guess. Its not even in the diary. Last weeks is down as 10 : w9, which I seem to remember fiddling with last week, so maybe tomorrow is ten thirty . Sigh.
I guess I just ......guess!
It sounds like their Apple's computer OSs. Every time you upgrade they go on about the shiny sparkly improvement, which usually seems to be about graphics or some little tweak to the interface.
Never mention the old useful software that stops running. Precious little attention to continuity or backwards compatibility. Utter shame as they tend to get things right in thier early versions. The later versions seem to have improved in no useful way whatsoever.
I'm still convinced they never made anything better than 10.4 Tiger, which also ran their old "classic" software. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Ouch!
Does she remember that.....?

I have posted about our cat mousing my nose one night - the scratch inside the nostril was so tender:(
A couple of weeks ago on a night following more dental work our cat walked across OHs swollen face. It is fair to say it woke him (and me) with a start.
She was quite tiny, about two or three so no memories that I am aware of, however who knows what lingers. It had some long term effects on us - we had a lock on the inside of our bedroom door until last year.0 -

You wouldn't be if you stick with me.
Today I followed a brightly painted van with dancing and jumping silhouettes on it.

Much nicer sideline and it earns you a few bob.0 -
I was visiting a friend this evening to catch up and to see piccies of her daughters wedding last year.
I saw the video (set to music) and many stills . It looked like a fabulous occassion, in a castle on a famous bit of coastline, however I was taken a back by the amount of entertainment - games, a comedy stint, and the dance, a lighting company and rigs needed alongside the entertainers, caterers, bussed in choir. Guests stayed in holiday cottages or caravans on a campsite and it was at least a weekend away for most.
Is this normal now?
The drive home was jolly scary tonight - the fog had rolled in off the Hamble River and Solent so visibility was barely a car length and I crawled along until I got inland.0 -
I had the biopsy done. The doctor wanted to do it without a local! I soon put him off that idea!
He hit a bit that hadn't been numbed and it really bloody hurt so I'm glad I got him to dull the pain. It's already starting to hurt. Ouchy.
Anyway, results out on Tuesday so I can make an appointment for any time after that. I'll do it so it clashes with an annoying meeting.
