Oh' so pretty!!
I really want a pomegranate, they are lovely plants. In Milan there were lots of wild , not fruiting, pomegranates, and the flowers are nice. I think one might cope here if it were south facing and I get more wind shelter.......l0 -
Hope Lydia got back in time for the sunshine kid.0

Speaking of idle, Isaac broke up for the Christmas holidays on Friday - little sod is hardly ever at his so-called place of learning!
He doesn't get off scot-free, though, he has his 3 hourly dyslexia lessons this week, holiday or no holiday.
I've just finished at Feltham - I'm trying to summon up the energy to go out in the rain and get the bus-train-bus home.
I was at the school at 8.15!
By 10am, I had had one meeting at school, done my weekly shop, delivered a voucher to my parents, picked up a prescription, put fuel in the car and unpacked the shopping. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I hate relying on public transport. I was walking to get a bus at 7am in the rain and cold and dark.
I pretty much always rely on public transport - it's generally good in London, almost always faster than driving, and better accepted as a genuine reason if you're actually late. Driving isn't....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

"According to the Evening Standard, Benedict Cumberbatch is in absolutely everything this Christmas."
"How can he manage that?"
"He's got a Tardis."PasturesNew wrote: »Never heard of him.
OH knows him, from their time together in India, teaching English, I think. Certainly sounds a familiar name, I'll ask him tomorrow. OH gave blood today, so he's having an early night.lostinrates wrote: »Big dog has cancer
Sorry to hear that, LIR. They smelled really strongly of oranges.
The lump doesn't cause her pain. Whether there is other discomfort I don't know. She takes reasonable pain killers on and off anyway because of her 'back'.0 -

Having said that, I waited 20 minutes for the return bus, which then took 10-12 minutes to make the journey as it was waiting for lighrts or at a roundabout most of the time.0
