Busy week this week, asthma check up for youngest, an awards evening for James and a Christmas concert for middle son...plus all the normal appointments/meetings etc.
Having James home has made a huge difference to the house, for a start, I had to turn my heating OFF last night as the extra body made the house too warm, secondly, my food bill has gone up, thirdly, middle son is already moaning....but is also secrectly pleased that he has someone to talk to about Pokemon and Doctor Who, who doesn't glaze over within 2 minutes. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I was in court before 10am, you idle lot (-:
Speaking of idle, Isaac broke up for the Christmas holidays on Friday - little sod is hardly ever at his so-called place of learning!
He doesn't get off scot-free, though, he has his 3 hourly dyslexia lessons this week, holiday or no holiday.
I've just finished at Feltham - I'm trying to summon up the energy to go out in the rain and get the bus-train-bus home....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I hate relying on public transport. I was walking to get a bus at 7am in the rain and cold and dark.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

But a nice day otherwise , huh!
I'm trying to get non resident parents insurers to talk to me and they won't grrr. Now they are saying they probably won't cover because though she is registered as being at my address the owner is non resident parent not me, and so there is a disconnect and I should be the policy holder..
I have tried explaining she was part of a family /marriage breakup and my non resident cannot take care of her and I have the other dogs but she is still primarily non residents dog but they don't get it.
Its odd to me, because in pedigree dog work its not unusal at all for dogs to have more than one unrelated owner, usually breeder retaining a share, or buyer's importing a stud to share use of, and one buyer holding but all using. Its really a PITA.
Looks like I have to make a judgement call. So difficult. Pro going in self funded are obvious....she's big dog! Anti is that it is an Aggressive type of tumour and is likely to have spread......and she's not young...so even if hasn't spread I could be buying a few months, I'm doubtful to be buying more than a year. But I said that for years about old girl horse........
Cannot get in touch with non res parent either. They'll want to go in, but want us to pay I reckon!
