Ventured out to the pub this evening and met up with our friends who live down the road. They have just had an offer accepted on a house about 100 yards from the one we are (hopefully) buying. There is a pub about halfway between the two - perfect!0

OK an exercise for NP. NB:Suitable for pregnant women.
Sit on the edge of your seat.
Lift your right leg.
Rotate your right foot clockwise.
Whilst continuing to rotate your right foot clockwise, raise your right arm and draw the figure 6.
What happens?
Nothing - I do clockwise and draw a 6.
What is supposed to happen?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Your foot starts turning anticlockwise.
Fwiw I had a riding instructor who used to make us do this sort of thing mounted to encourage independent action of hands and feet. Drummers are also usually particularly adept and this sort of coordinated disconnect. Sue's son might have no trouble.0 -
Your foot starts turning anticlockwise.
Aha - didn't happen to me. But I could always do the pat and rub thing with different hands, too.
Not that I can be a drummer or anything useful with it (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
My leg got half way round and then I dislocated my hip. Is that meant to happen?0

You're supposed to find your riding instructor in the equine section of your free ad paper, not the "Adult Entertainment."“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

It's a good job I gave my friend decent instructions as to how to find my house as I misplaced my phone yesterday morning (on silent mode). After turning the house upside down I've found it just under 24 hours later.
It wasn't in the freezer, washing machine, airing cupboard, wheelie bins, or box of glass which needs to go to the bottle bank. It was under the blanket on my bed. I'd checked under the duvet, but not between the duvet and blanket. I must have slept very still last night! At least I knew it was definitely in the house, so if I kept looking it had to turn up.0
