Nosy neighbours.
We viewed a house when we were out walking, the sales girl reckoned that locals with no intentions of buying accounted for 90% of the footfall. There is the trend for open house viewing days at the moment, that must increase the percentage.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm the nosy neighbour. I don't recognise any of them as neighbours. It is an open house though and it is very well presented, so I'm sure some will be going for interior design ideas.
I'll still eat my hat if it sells at or near that price though. I may have to do some online shopping and look for one made from rice paper. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? After another phone call yesterday morning complaining about the lack of response from the school, I finally had a response from one of the teachers involved.
It was as I thought, they assumed that either he would let me know via a phone call or that, as if by magic, I would be there waiting to pick him up as normal. Quite how they came to the conclusion that I would know they were finishing early is somewhat beyond me, I'm afraid I was rather sarcastic in my reply to that one (well yes, I am a mind reader or can know by osmosis type of thing)
The phoning thing would be reasonable if they were not aware that youngest is phone phobic for one thing and doesn't actually carry a mobile for another, something which had been covered in a meeting not a week before the event which one of the teachers involved was part of!
Her next assumption was that if there was a problem, that he would have indicated that I wouldn't be there...does she not listen? That is and always has been a feature/frustration where youngest is concerned, it doesn't matter how potentially serious or bad the problem is, youngest just cannot voice it.
ArgghhhhWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

We've spent the morning moving pots and sweeping, I got tired a eleven, so opened the doors so I can keep sitting down. Garden really alive, some roses, wall flowers primula, crocus, peach blossoms......everywhere we look something.0

We've been out to the garden and it's ok.
But we need some screening plants as we now realise quite how we're overlooked by a public car park. I suggested bamboo and he went invasive so we need a compromise.
Suggestions anyone?0 -
You can grow bamboo in containers... if it's just the invasive thing you're worried about. Plus a nice evergreen hedge, for a more permanent solution.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
