The doctor said that Leon is likely to be benign but I guess what the hell else are you going to say?
Frustrated and bored of seeing doctors is how I feel. And a bit cross to be messed around. It's nobody's faulty, im just generally grumpy about it.
Gen, gen......I understand, frustration, but, you cannot be that frustrated and bored, one set of doctors for one Leon.
Whatever he s he's out in a couple of weeks? When do you ge the actual date?0 -

They do go for the supersized bars and crisp packets and drinks here. We're the most obese nation on the planet I believe. Go Aussie!
We have the most obese women in Europe but Malta won the men's competition.
On chocolate bars- seems to be going the other way, they're all getting smaller here. Twixes has about a centimetre lopped off last year and I am convinced that Yorkies have been shortened by a block. I assume it's to increase the profit without increasing the price rather than out of concern for our health.
I just buy two...0 -
Really horrible wet and windy weather outside.....I don't want to go out in it, I'm nice and warm inside and doing the school run means getting wet and cold.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Trains are destroyed this morning - they are blaming it on the overhead cables catching fire...I think it's more likely to be because it is raining a bit.
For some reason when major disruption happens the few trains are that do turn up are always empty - I have no idea why. I got a seat on a train at a time when I'd normally have to squeeze on and stand like a sardine by the doors. Perhaps I should start more fires....0 -

I always thought the australians were slim and fit, due to being able to go out for more than 6 months a year. To the beach. To barbeq... oh.
More seriously, if you do die can I have your computer?
( er, on second thought, the postage might be expensive)
It's amazing actually. If you go into an office in the CBD of Sydney, you'd never think that people in Sydney were lardy at all. Most people under the age of 40 are actually pretty athletic looking, there are very few smokers, gym or sporting activity most lunchtimes and perhaps once a week after work is normal.
When I first got here I spent a few days working in a place called Plumpton, in the Western Suburbs. I reckon at least half were obese, probably more like 70-80%. Probably half smoked.
This isn't a poor place as such, although the average income would be much less than in my office, just a normal working class suburb. People just made bad choices. Fast food is amazingly available over here and people will have takeaway here rather than ready meals which are of very poor quality and are expensive.
I will leave you my computer when I die. You are welcome to collect in person, bringing all your great-grandparents with you to vouch for who you are of course (I don't want your computer taken by someone else).0 -
Gen, I don't want to joke about what I want when you die (any cooking notes or special recipes) I just want you to live, and in the mean time stay strong and as calm as you can do.0

I don't tend to write recipes down so best get in quick.
It's all fine, really. The kids and I are about to sit down to Daddy's Chicken Pie. It's annoying to go back from diagnosis to no diagnosis but no more than that really. I can't be Arsenaled to be cross or sad or anything.
If I had to define my emotional state it would be mildly miffed. Probably not a great day for a cold caller to arrive at the door, unlikely to go postal.0
