Gen - you are taking the deferred diagnosis very calmly - which sounds like a solid and manly thing to do whilst awaiting the next step.
In RL on personal matters I have a strong belief in "its not my tale to tell". Which means even if something is interesting/amusing/relevant/newsworthy and I am an involved party I do not 'tell others' about it. I think whoever is center stage 'owns' it. It is OK when it is 'out there' or disclosure agreed. Sometimes our responsibility could be to deal with our own fall out from events without exposing others at the heart of the event to more interest.
Just back from the vet, where I had taken Molly the rabbit for a consultation about respiratory condition that emerged last night. Sadly Molly has been PTS, which DD & I had discussed this morning, but I was a lot more hopeful and though anti bugs and anti inflammatory would do it. She was an old bunny, about 7, came to us 4 years ago.0 -

Crop tops most definitely are not for big breasts. I have one on to avoid discomfort of wires while being wrangled in to contortions.
I never would have made this decision a few years ago. I ink my vanity is lessening.0 -
Even with the disadvantage of not being desired by michaels I would still give my eye teeth to have the looks and brains of Christine Lagarde.
Seconded. I'd also quite like her wardrobe, and the body to fit into it. She always looks very chic. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? It does - most of the time now, I don't give a monkeys!
@Spirit, how's DD feel about Bunny? Not knowing anything about rabbits, 7 does sound a good age.0 -
I was just watching the Daily Politics. The creators of Spitting Image were being interviewed. They were asked if Spitting Image was running again now, which people they would most enjoy making puppets of. They said they would like to make a Nigel Farage puppet (because he already is a caricature) and Andrew Marr because he is pompous and has big ears. They said they wouldn't do David Cameron because he has a tiny mouth like a chicken's bottom and that would be difficult to do. Apparently Jeffrey Archer used to send reference pictures in because he was so desperate to have his own puppet. They refused until he was caught in a compromising situation then they had to make one. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Seven is a good age, and the vet (despite the circumstances) described bunny as being in very good condition.
Daughter will be sad but say little, as despite the impression I might give, she is a very kind, caring individual, doesn't do dramas and can calibrate the loss of a pet rabbit relative to the loss of a loved one. As she has ongoing depression after a bereavement I will worry about her:o but she will be fine.
The dilemma will be whether we get a new partner for Mollies husband. He is quite young, very very very cute, a replacement following the demise of her first husband last year. We have another single male - tried to find him a new mate last year but he kept bashing them up, and a bonded pair who were long term inmates of the RSPCA which we took last year whilst looking for singles to bond with our single rabbits. You do not have to have crystal ball to forsee more rescue rabbits moving in. Not sure I have the willpower to resist.0 -

How could they resist Ed Miliband? The hair, the nasal tone, the worthy sincerity. Osbourne!Clegg! Salmond! Boris is a Spitting Image puppet isn't he?
If they did get going I think it would revive a popular political interest. It could do wonders for the Scottish devolution debate.0 -
Ed Miliband is a dead ringer for Wallace (as in Gromit)...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
