Does he really want a proper job straight away rather than some traveling?
I will PM you the company website, we took on 2 grads last year, we aim for 1 or 2 a year) but may well take on one more this year.
Funnily enough. ......
Am off to the Docs whilst you lot all sleep. I got here and just missed a bus then got a chocolate bar because I got hungry...and missed the next one!0 -
Saw the specialist. He reckons that it's not a Whartin's Tumour although that it's probably a tumour.
I need to wait a couple of weeks and then go for another biopsy. Then he'll probably cut whatever it is out.0 -

Hm. Is Leon still likely to be benign?
Why do you need to wait again?

The doctor said that Leon is likely to be benign but I guess what the hell else are you going to say?
Frustrated and bored of seeing doctors is how I feel. And a bit cross to be messed around. It's nobody's faulty, im just generally grumpy about it.0 -

Sorry you didn't get a diagnosis; I guess this is just going to be a long running saga thingie. Australian healthcare isn't so different to the NHS after all. They're all doctors.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Good luck mate.
They do go for the supersized bars and crisp packets and drinks here. We're the most obese nation on the planet I believe. Go Aussie!Sorry you didn't get a diagnosis; I guess this is just going to be a long running saga thingie. Australian healthcare isn't so different to the NHS after all. They're all doctors.
We all make mistakes and TBH a big part of the reason for the doc wanting a second diagnosis is because [STRIKE]he gets a kick back from the diagnostic company[/STRIKE] I am not 70 and not a smoker and 70 year old smokers get the tumour I was diagnosed with.
The main advantage over the NHS is that it all happens a lot faster, the disadvantage is price. I had to pay $200 today, basically to be told to go and spend another $250. Now I'll get the majority of both of those costs back but I'll be out of pocket to the tune of $100-120 at a guess.
I'll get the new biopsy done and then be back with the specialist a week or two later at the latest. That's not a rush job either, just normal. The best thing with the Aussie system is that you don't spend ages begguring around and wondering what's going to happen next. Also, you are a customer and can see whoever you want. As a result you are treated like a customer which is nicer.
Oh, and the bloody missus put on facebook that I was seeing an "oncologist" so now I've got loads of messages asking if I'm about to expire and can they inherit my bike please.0 -

I always thought the australians were slim and fit, due to being able to go out for more than 6 months a year. To the beach. To barbeq... oh.
More seriously, if you do die can I have your computer?
( er, on second thought, the postage might be expensive)
