I found. Pack of cigarettes from 2009, sealed, dried out and vile, only for the bin? Or do you want them to help your slow suicide Pastures?
Do fags have a shelf life? I think not. I'll smoke anything :)

I'm in the middle of a bit of a cookathon. Think I'll head back to Shakeshire next Sat so need to use up things in the fridge. Also decided the Christmas cakes kit I bought a little while ago needed using rather than lingering at the back of a cupboard for another year. So in the oven at the mo are 2 Christmas cakes (I only have sandwich tins rather than a deep cake tin), a tray of potatoes and a tray of beetroot and garlic. Once the potatoes and meat see done they will be replaced by some pork and stuffing :) I had bought some goats cheese to go with the beetroot so I think I'm going to have my first 'starter' since moving in here.
I don't bake cakes.... they need eating.

Well..... anything that seems reasonable and isn't drugs. If you'd said "we bought these dried banana fags on a world trip 10 years ago, they taste horrible... wanna try them?" I'd go for it :)

I've found the cameraphone to be exciting as I can take photos.... but disappointing that I am hampered by weather/light .... a good/clear view of stuff .... and, in the case of markets etc, not feeling comfortable taking photos of people's product lines, but still wanting to take some random snaps....

When I photograph food it's dark outisde and in here it's low energy lightbulbs except the one remaining tiny ceiling spotlight.... so my food photos are shockingly bad.... especially as the purpose of cooking it is to eat it, so I am more interested in tucking in than getting good photos.

I'll drop some dull photos in later.... and some of you will be obliged to respond politely :)

Random photos ... you'll like this ... not a lot ... (as the saying goes)

And my dinner, which doesn't photograph well as it's on a plate and in poor lighting.

Need to read back- lost track of which phone you bought in the end. How much was the car recharger thingy? Need one myself.

Because in summer I don't mind if people do it. I presume that people have some common sense (I know, my mistake, mea maxima culpa......which iPad wants to make cuppa) and won't do it when its BLOODY WET AND WINTER.

That amused me greatly. Sounds like a big tea from Starbucks.

    We're back!

Me and James arrived back nearly an hour ago now, lovely easy run with no hold ups...apart from when we got to his halls and needed someone to open the blooming gate to the car park.

James has lost so much weight! He barely had any meat on his bones before, now he looks so skinny.

Probably says all you need to know about my mum's
cooking that we all put on weight when we left home...

That is a better size dinner. We are having beef stew with meat from the freezer went to tesco earlier and was considerably underwhelmed, also surprised it wasn't busier.
    I think....

    Its good innit?

We're waiting for supper to cook. I need to see if I have anything clean to wear tomorrow. The trousers I put out or DH yesterday look great, till he showed me the hems......oh, yeah, I do remember sticking some safety pins in as an emergency.

Eyes not good enough to remember tonight, especially as both really need taking down a bit too ( that's weird right?)

We put two of the white boys out with the big hens today and the are sitting out there terrified of girls bigger than them. The millefleur bantams they have been harassing look relieved though.
