http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/mortgages/best-mortgages-cashback ?
Is there anything obvious which meant that Lloyds suggested such a low amount? (feel free not to answer, meant more for you to think about). LIR is right though, I'm sure you're a good candidate for a broker.0 -

we used london & county, they do the standard mortgage brokers and go through what you want and help you. Sometimes, they have deals not available online. If you want a small freebie, I can refer you.
But don't forget to search for direct lenders, e.g. first direct, HSBC.0 -

Buit the whatsi t word gone stuff......cleans you out.....klean prep....LAXITIVE, there we are, is super. If you've prepped for the prep after the first short while you are essentially pooping clean looking odourless water anyway, Which is quite novel I think. Odd, novel.
NOTHING about the experience is worth not doing it of its needed.
I'd do it again.
I want to restore some balance so no one is taken by surprise Picalax :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
However, you get over it. If such examination is needed you just have to get on with it.0 -

I think my prep for prep made the difference, my GI should write something about it, but he made it clear most times procedures repeat Is because people don 't prep properly and this is usually because the find it hard. Because I don't find that hard he could advice his' you won't have to do this again unless we need to go back medically' prep. By the time I came to the sachets...I'd run the tank low. Yes, its tiring to keep padding to the loo, but I took a rare day where I said others had to do animals after midday, and went upstairs and spent the day doing beauty treatments and padding back and forward to loo. And staying near loo.
I stayed naked ( easier) and GI also recommended liberal application of Vaseline or zinc and castor oil. Its no wonder it tickled, my skin was baby soft!
I almost called hospital to ask if I really needed the third and fourth sachets, I was clean, but......well, it was no skin off my nose taking them really, so I did.. :rotfl:

Spoke to a mortgage broker but that made it even more confusing as he mentioned a few options that hadn't cropped up when looking at comparison sites. He came up with an offset deal but despite the rate being great it was a crappy product which only lets you have one offsetting bank account. Back to stage 1 there - will require at least a hundred hours of procrastination on my part. I am terrible at making decisions like this where there are too many options.
Is there a reason for needing more than 1 offset account - separate finances? With an offset and thus no interest earned there are no tax advantages of having separated funds. I know some banks will even let you offset friends/relatives savings.
Best rates are with LTVs below 60/65/70% depending on lender. Brokers be careful, even those claiming to be whole of market are unlikely to push lenders who don't pay intermediaries like HSBC.
There is no harm in switching lenders every two years to take advantage of introductory rates and never suffering the uncompetitive 'go to' rates but only if you are sure you will not suffer from a worse risk rating at the planned switch date (for example due to lower income. single income, worse ltv as a result of falling house prices etc). i once went on an intro deal that ran for only 6 months as the low rates, free legals and valuation made it very lucrative to do so.....Very true - I hadn't thought of it that way. It's not very scientific though. And my job makes me realise that no medicine is without side effects so it is surely better to diagnose properly to make sure the treatment is reasonably appropriate?
Edit - not sure how it works as I've never used it before, but I would be happy to pay the 'excess' and get the tests done privately if necessary.
Our local GP, once they know you have BUPA are happy to refer you to whatever you feel like. I guess it then becomes somebody else's problem.
I do wish I had not read the last 5 pages - except for Tallulah saying 'Hi' of courseI think....0 -

Some won't need to switch every few years, with shorter mortgage term need than the rest of us. Sometimes, short/short-medium term is the way to think.

I dunno - I see it as a cheap credit line so try to maximise the term and advance. I hope to be effectively MF later this year but my mortgage will still be 40% ltv at 6x incomeI think....0 -

Try the mortgage board, not for a broker but for general advice.
I have used brokers that seemed to post sense over there without being clearly out to get business. AndrewSmith and stanmoresaver, but not sure that either post any more.
