I have lights a bit like that on the landing.
I generally find lights are immensely helpful when landing.:)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

rUK plus Hamishland!
I did originally get the notion that this thread was based on a triangle with the base being the south coast and the vertex in the West Midlands. But bugslet and yorkie1 and others have shown me there is more of a spread.
Come to think of it.....there's no regular posters these days from the other three home nations.
Hmm, a few of us ain't pure Brit or are married to not out Brits or both. I can think of three without trying hard.0 -

Mrs Generali considers herself to be more English than Australian, probably more Londoner actually.0 -

You need a part time dog!
It's amazing the clarity of thinking that I've had today.
I do a lot of things that make me very unhappy because they help other people. That is going to have to stop.0 -
I was absolutely paranoid last night about letting the dogs out for a wee!
Are they old?
Most dogs will go over night easily. Old, ill or some other reasons are an exception. Its why before bed we go out and I make sure the have all widdley wee wee'd. Big dog wa a kennel dog for two years and is old and does struggle, they othe two? They'd be fine. Dog dog would be especially find if she still slept with me......she hates getting out of bed in the morning.
Its terrible to be a dog, an adult creature of instinct and response...... and need someone to open the door for you!
BUT, look, if the worst DID happen, you've had babies, you can clear up. Biological washing detergent if the house is on mains drainage is the simplest detergent for this purpose. I'm not on mains, and still keep some for cleaning my terrace with once a year and sorting out any mishaps, I just rinse my mop or cloths well out side before putting them in my washing mashine.
Fwiw, I know plent of people who use biological detergent in their Amos and get away with it fine.0 -

It's mostly because it's not my house and yes the dogs are old, really old I'd say. I am slightly concerned that one might just not wake up. The owner still wells up talking about previous dog that died a few years back.lostinrates wrote: »Haha, I 'd forgotten mrs gen! Four!
