I put Tusk on one night at bedtime and now he demands it every night!
It's third only to Wind the Bobbin Up and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
What is the enduring power of Wind the Bobbin Up? Most mums these days don't know what a bobbin is, let alone the kids. We still have to sing it every week though. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Viva- sounds horrible!💙💛 💔0

Doesn't affect me CK, but it is a major rat run, so will affect traffic monday if the road doesn't reopen. I feel sorry for the people who live there. They are quite new houses, a year old, maybe two or three... The people who live there aren't likely to be very wealthy either as they are shared ownership.
ETA: just seen a pic from the FB. The sinkhole goes under the house and under the road, which are just sort of hanging there. As the road is a cul de sac and has for good reason been closed, nobody will be able to get their cars out. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have asked this question... even though my Mum, as an avid DIY seamstress, did teach us what bobbins were...

But the reality with you inside is that there's a fence panel blowing about outside. The reality with you outside is that it hits you on the bonce. That reality actually is 10x worse! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Yeah, seen the sinkhole on the news. Major work to fix that.

It's housing association and shared ownership already.
So now housing association/shared ownership/sinkhole. Not an ideal combination.
Should be interesting to see how the NHBC warranty works on that one. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? So hurricanes hardly ever happen in Hertfordshire.
But sinkholes....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Just been teaching about them, oddly enough. Won't be the last ones we'll see I'd imagine.
There's parts of London undermined literally by abandoned mines whose maps are now lost.
Wasn't someone discussing it on here a few days ago, or did I see it somehere else? There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Can you give us a bit of a lesson please zag? Not aware of any mines under the new one, there were bungalows with big gardens there before it was redeveloped for the new houses, before that afaik it was fields. Do think that was the case in High Wycombe though. Plus of course they are both parts of the Chilterns.
