We could have a mini meet somewhere round Lydia next time nikkster is home?

I think last time we discussed this we felt that Oxford would be accessible to Nikkster, me, lemonjelly and a selection of London and inner Herts people.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

So, I pop onto MSE before setting off for home and see this (as it is on the last page of the thread)

Ooh - thinks I - this sounds like someone has exciting news :j

Go back a page and... whoah!
I hope nobody here asks me why I'm blushing, because I think it would be tricky to explain!

Sighs in frustration and with apologies to lir.

BG came out and replaced bits of the boiler. Tested it and all worked fine. Now I put the heating on and again the boiler takes an age to fire up. :(

    BG coming out again tomorrow.
