Oh dear. So sorry. Didn't mean to cause you any trouble. :o:(

Wrong end of the stick matey!
I meant that certain other people are getting on my wick, not intentionally, or deliberately, or with malice, but because. & I'm struggling to deal with it...

    Poor you.

    Me too, with RP.

I really have felt very much like running away. Only......you cannot run that far whe. You want to curl up and sleep :rotfl:

I think time of year makes things feel worse. We've had no real winter, just this eternal 'wet dank dark' and so season feels weird and sort of unending. Its not that healthy.

Oh, OK. Phew. Glad I'm not the cause of the trouble. Thanks for explaining. :) V sorry you're having a tough time though. :( Hope you get some decent sleep soon. Everything is harder to cope with when you haven't had enough sleep. (Note to self - must get more sleep. :o)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

I relate greatly to NDG's "throw the baby out the window" analogy:o

I've noticed my spelling is poor this morning. Probably related!

I'll try to explain myself better 1st time round next time...:o

On re-reading the above, I've paraphrased NDG so badly I fear I've done her a dis-service...:o

On reflection, I do think there is something to this. Leave home in darkness. Get home, it's dark. Seeing little/no sunlight. It can get one down a bit if you allow it to.

I was talking with a friend last night about the lack of snow. We're now wondering whether we will actually get any...

I made fish pie last night. First time ever. Had never poached fish before. Whilst nice, & pretty healthy, it was a little bland. Next time I'll look to use smoked fish, but still need to consider how to give it a little oomph flavour wise.

Yes. The diet is basically at least 1 proper cooked meal a day. Minimum of 2 portions of veg in there, more normally 3 for her and about 5 for me (I pile my plate with veggies). It's the crap she eats at the rest of the time that's the problem.

For example, I bought a multipack of Cadbury Mini Eggs yesterday. Today, 6 boxes are missing @ 200kCals a box.

She probably gets a sugar rush and then can't stop. I'm the same. Most of the time, I'm careful, and then I'll binge.

There is something you can do to help her, though I don't know whether you need more loaded onto your shoulders. My DW cuts up two apples for me every morning and puts them in a plastic bag. That means I have 3 portions of apple a day (they are big apples) without even thinking about it. Basically, she treats me like the big toddler that I am.

She also peels carrots and leaves a bowl of carrot stick on the kitchen table.

The main problem is that it's a fair bit of work for her, although it's very much appreciated by the whole family, who don't always acknowledge the effort that has gone into it, of course!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Following on from numerous healthy eating/weight comments, must fight to avoid comfort eating!:D

My long range weather forecast suggests not, but who knows.

A good cold spell is healthy IMO.

Late is a pain, damaging for the garden. Its what happened last year....very few plums here as a result and no gages. :(

A plate of prepped fruit made my DH has always been a huge treat for me. It makes me feel tremendously loved.

I love, love, love a beautiful plate of fruit to nibble on. Is anything in the world really better? Its beautiful, its healthy, it shows love and care in its preparation.

However, if one is feeling low and the message received is ' you're a bloater and I'm going off you' it would be a totally different thing.
