The forecast for tomorrow looks dry and sunny. Enjoy it
Anyway, I blame it all on the jetstream.0 -

Pulled pork here, with home made deep south American bbq sauce.
Cooked up the sauce an hour ago, may have been a mistake, as smells so ridiculously good my mouth is watering.
And the pork won't be ready for another hour or two.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

I live in Outer Herts (London), I'm not a scientist, and my dearly beloved is Jewish.
There is no Jewish ancestry in my family. I am not a scientist, but my DH is.
Outer Herts - definitely.
Mushrooms - too vile to mention, and I'm not keen on prawns either.0 -
No Jewish ancestry in my family, no OH to be Jewish or otherwise.
Outer Herts, but not very far from Inner Herts.
I'm a Scientist (that word is actually in my job title!)
I love mushrooms, especially after a number of years in mushroom-exile as I lived with someone who was allergic to them.0 -

Char Sui is so easy its one of my new favourite things even though pork is my least favourite meat. Because I'm finding noodles are so ethink I can pretty much always digestits easy for me to have noodles and add veg to others' meals too.
Because char Sui is so good and easy I'm even considering marinading a few joints at a time and freezing them. Only...then I know I'll either become unable to eat pork or become totally uninamoured of the idea.
But we're continuing the new year vibe from yesterday today..
Edit:
The buns are steaming and the filling looks really good. Not the same as I'm used to but I knew from the recipe it wouldn't be,this is lighter.0 -
Looked at a house today. Quite nice but very small garden and about 3 miles away from where we want to live. Said it was 4 bedrooms but one of the rooms was about big enough to fit a small chair in. Also near a busy train line. Still, was tempted because the downstairs was great and silly things are happening where we want to live: this house was on the market for the last 6 months of last year at £725k - I spoke to an agent last year about it (when in the process of putting in an offer on another house they were selling) who said they were getting no viewings on it. The obvious response is to relist it for £745k! http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-42741907.html
Off skiing tomorrow. Woo hoo.0 -

In October 2010 a hunter, Justin, was on a hunting trip and they saw a creature and he shot it. He thought for a second it was a bear, but it was on two legs - 7-8' tall, 600 lbs he said and he dcided he was going to kill it. But it wasn't alone, 2-3 smaller ones, 3-4' high. He shot one of the little ones, very human like features, eyes had whites.
He had shot a bigfoot, that's the only explanation he's got. He is hoping the DNA test will tell him what he shot.
i've got this program on in the background. i quite liked it when the chap was smacking the tree with a stick and trying to get the bigfoots (bigfeet?) to come by luring them out with their favourite food, apples (obviously).0
