Are you supposed to acrue annnually paid interest or just put it all against the year in which it is received?
Did DWs back in April as she was owed several hundred, did mine in December and paid the 563 owing last week once I had the suitable credit card. After doing DWs found she had earned another 40 quid of interest over 2 accounts so that is a tenner we failed to claim back but it didn't seem worth investigating whether it was possible to resubmit.
Question is: how much interest did you earn in this tax year? And I've entered the figure. And I've already paid tax on it, so it doesn't affect the tax to pay, it'd just affect tax if I'd overpaid.
I am paying OUT, not getting any back.0 -

What you should do is get a thick plastic sheet up against the door - sealing as much as possible by any means possible, then lay the sandbags on that. The sandbags will slow down water and help to filter out filth.... so a membrane behind them will give better protection against water actually entering.
Poor dogs.
Yep, have a mini tarp ready, but not going to try sand bags alone. DH will take ten minutes, I'd be forty at least. .
Thankfully we haven't had to Ouse any of our grit this year so we have loads for a couple of sand bags.
My old council used to deliver them for free and I honestly never thought I'd need to check here. We dug the ditches deeper last year too. :eek:0 -

I have been trying for over an hour to print a copy of my tax return. Before you submit it, they offer you that in various guises: View, Save, Print - none are working. Multiple tries, logins, all sorts, and it never views, prints, saves, downloads or anything.0

DW gets back, on one account she gets paid interest in August for 'year to date'. Thus in theory most of the interest covers the previous tax year period and a little bit coves the current tax year of that makes sense. So I could complete thetax return as if it were all earned in the year it was paid or I coudl try to 'accrue' it over the two years.
Mental note, never agree if GDB suggests a game of Mornington CrescentI think....0 -

Rofl, Ident doesn't count as wealth in my book. It might count as potential wealth but lots of what we are doing is not adding value.
must sort out my cc situation actually.
I keep saying I will and never do.
I have to choose a new business bank too.

Went for a 6th form college visit yesterday, youngest absolutely loved it there and they have said they follow the statements as closely as they can, which is a lot better than his current school who have said they can't promise anything. Only problem is that it is a 20 minute drive away and he would need transport....and that causes no end of other issues for him!
Speak to the local education authority transport to schools department. Now that school leaving age has been sort of* raised, they should be making transport provision for 6th form age pupils. They used to use the get-out that 6th form schooling wasn't compulsary, so provided no transport; now that isn't the case they should be making some provision. I bet they have no further funds and are keeping very quiet at the moment.
*sort of in that you can leave school but only if you have a training scheme, apprenticeship or training lined up.This is just a lump, it doesn't even hurt.
TBH, I reckon if I had some hideous cancer of the lymph nodes such that I can see it then I'd have some other symptoms.
It's a cyst or similar and will be treated as such. It's sensible to be certain but I'd give 50-1 against it being anything terminal or even horrible.
DS2 had the same. Didn't tell me, said he was too busy with exams to worry, internet said very very unlikely to be anything dangerous so he didn't think about it. Got blood test results that said it wasn't dodgy. I wish I had that temprement that didn't worry about stuff.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Not sure how to pay that tax. Previous years, after submission, it's taken me to pay. This time it's not.... and I am poking around trying to find the right place.... why did they change something so handy!!0
