You stayed away so that you could be part of the team, Spirit? Would you rather have been at home?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

No wonder I've never been to a NP meet!:D

    You and Sue.

Oh... and neither of you have been to NP meets (as far as I know)

Around £3000 for a decent planning consultant, I think. It's worth asking them what they think, but with perfect hindsight, don't get swept immediately down the path of appeal. It's not easy to come back from a failed appeal.

Thanks DG - I suspect the political route will be hard as their are so many objectors who I suspect are at least as well connected as me (if not better).

It just seems silly that we have this 'overbearing' issue to aim at (having passed all other objective tests) and yet there is nothing that indicates what the phrase means or rules that determine when it applies and that other decisions do not seem to form any type of precedent :(
    I think....

That is it entirely. The competence stuff and dragons den was quite fun.

The murder mystery had am dram actors in character...one of whom I knew!

Oh, I know. A planning consultant should know how to combat and what the inspector might say as they are better qualified than the planning officers.

Our appeal succeeded on all the technical points that the planning officer raised, but failed on the 'character of the area'. No technical description of that, either!

Lydia, I think the thing pn has posted and removed was a reference to the past not a present crisis.

    I do.

Thought I'd better get in [STRIKE]their[/STRIKE] there first before anyone else says anything ;)

Edit: I can't even blame that on predictive text as I'm on my laptop. Must be time to retire up the wooden stairs...

    Well remembered!

Mine is more the psychology behind the crime though albeit with serial killers!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Occasionally there is music that I dislike so much that I can't bear to listen to it (e.g. Dancing in the Moonlight by Toploader).

Toploader is music for the devil! & they're touring again!

I meant to respond to this at the time and suddenly thought of it whilst doing the washing up tonight...

If you think toploader's cover of dancing in the moonlight is annoying you should listen to the original version by king harvest. It is really really irritating, it sounds like a cross between toploader and a really out of tune music box. Available on youtube...

On the subject of toploader, I quite like their latest album, only human. I think I'm old enough to like rubbish music with no edge now.
