    I give up.

I just don't know how you keep him that clean. Kiwi is always beige :(. I bathed him at the weekend, he's pale beige today. He still smells nice though. Slightly orangey.

Made me smile, wheezy, thank you.

Doozerdog let himself and Twozerdog out of the front door this morning. I found them at the bottom of the drive, Doozerdog helping himself to the contents of the wheelie bin and throwing the spoils down to Twozer.

Twozer made it back to the house first, smacking his chops. I had to clean rice and noodles off his back before letting him in.

Nothing special really...about once a month he gets shampoo-ed with Allermyl (dermatological - his paws tend to flare up with non-derma shampoos).
And an undercarriage rinse after each muddy walk.

Kiwi would never be dry :rotfl: our garden is soaked. Three times a day we go out into field/ yard

ATM though I'm not going far. He has a sore under his arm, I'm concern it stays not too dirty at least.

    Hello Wheezy :)

Any doggy pictures for us? :D

Hi DG - you couldn't let me know how much a planning appeal should cost could you? And how on earth something nebulous as overbearing is decided in a consistent manner?
    I think....

I don't mean to scaremonger at all, but we're being told to look out, locally.

Its ok, I know so you are not worrying me unduly.

I'm keeping an eye on him.

I'm pretty sure its just from him being into stuff, he's chipper and well, but I'm keeping an eye on him. It is wy I'm trying yo not wander o far. Anything is going to have an easier route on broken skin. No woods, no vomiting........plenty of wriggling under gates and chicken wire;)

Around £3000 for a decent planning consultant, I think. It's worth asking them what they think, but with perfect hindsight, don't get swept immediately down the path of appeal. It's not easy to come back from a failed appeal. The second consultant we approached is £200 an hour and a clear mile better than the last.

I really believe the best thing is to sit down with the planning officer at the LA at pre-app and ask them what they think would be the least harmful development - and then apply again after discussing with a planning consultant; not appeal yet. I learned it is better to go for something tiny and get the principle of development established and then continue the fight for something larger once you've got your foot wedged in the door. Your overshadowing issue disappears once the roofline drops.

If you have five supporters on your application, I understand that you can get it taken to committee yourself if the planning officer is minded to refuse. There are two routes to planning permission, one involves planning policy, the other involves throwing yourself around politically.

I have been team building last night and today. We should have taken tips from your dogs on the benefits of working together.

As it was...last night was a murder mystery (I was on the winning team). This morning a technical competency thing, and this afternoon Dragons den, the fruits of which are that I am now the owner of a plastic gold medal.

I stayed away overnight... about 12 miles from home.

OH won't let me pay someone to do my tax return and refuses to do mine himself. So I do it, but constantly ask him questions throughout. He never says he'll take over. Bit of a bug bear. He's an accountant, its obviously easier for him. And mine is more complicated than his.

Perhaps he has been scared by watching your mum be so incapable of coping without your dad, and wants to know that you can do these things yourself.

I agree with GDB this is awful. There's a level of disorganisation and not-joined-up-thinking that's dangerously close to being accepted as a norm nowadays.:(

PN, has something bad happened that you've posted and then deleted before I got the chance to read it? Are you OK? Is there anything we can do to help, or find out on your behalf, or anything? PM or email me unless you'd rather not, please.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
