You need reserves. We have firelighters from Costco. American idea, so don't know if you can buy anywhere else. One little match to light the paper at the end and a roaring fire for 5 hours. Works out about £3 a throw, so not for everyday use.
Good ness. Fantastic resource for 'sick days'.
What does one do twitch the ashes of such things, one presumes they aren't garden or compost friendly?0 -

There's a homeowner with issues....This one bright enough for you kitchenwise.

I'm undecided wether to wince at the stair carpet or fall in love.
I'm actually impressed when I see an interior with that much individuality, though it's definitley not my style!
What's the shed for at the end of the garden..... for the man of the house to live and escape! I bet that's painted pure white inside

Last tub, the crystal one. Lovely. Of course, she got the idea from my shopping list I'm sure......
I'd actually prefer that one.
. It would go beautifully in my en suite. The tap is not good for the bath though, IMO. I'm bath tub browsing, ready to buy one for my en suite and stick it in a barn for later this year of the mood strikes me......... 0 -
Marked as being decided under delegated authority = no call in to committee = bad news I think....0 -
I'll settle for a house large enough to have a bath at all ... and I'll accept the bath as it is unless it's a weird colour.. in which case I'd change it to a white one as soon as it drove me completely batty (2-3 years)lostinrates wrote: »http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2041277/Luxury-tap-From-1m-baths-TV-tub--bathrooms-new-status-symbols-Unashamed-luxury---just-money-drain.html

There isn't much ash. What there is I put in the wheelie bin. Haven't a clue whether it is friendly or not.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
