A long way past beyond. Beyond the black stump even.

It's beyond Timbuktu, the epitome of remoteness, so yes!

I'd wait up ...... it'd be mean not to. Greet your returning little soldier :)

I think that's what LIR had in mind when she said to get into bed wearing a negligee. ;)

I'd sleep in the mean time if I were tired and could sleep.

I think it depends on what sort of sleeper/waked you are maybe? I think I'd wake up easily and with excitement.

Sleep was weird last night.. Somehow the clock on my phone (also my alarm had reset so that six . 20 was 3.15. I've been getting up later this winter, and my alarm is set for 6.20 every day which gives me time to feed the dogs slowly, have a drink, walk them in the mud and dark before letting the birds out.

Anyway, the dogs looked really surprised to see me at 3.15. I set the clock badly and it went of again at five, then not till seven fifteen, So now I'm running late. All the chickens were glowering at me.

OH sometimes returns from the US on a flight that lands around 7am. When he is away I have difficulty getting to sleep, any slight noise in the house and I am up checking that all is well. Yet he can come home and get into bed before I wake up, without me even noticing.

I should add that often the flight arrives early, luggage is priority tagged and driver waiting at the airport; so (plane) doors open to home can be done in about an hour with a fair wind.

I've just danced for ten mins to radio one. When did radio one get good again, or am I getting less pole up the bottom again? In anycase, because right side is very weak and tight I've done ten mins or so right dominant dancing. I am going to have the house to my self for a bout a month so seems a good time to start working on stamina building up a bit more reliably because in foul weather I can dance/exercise in the cheese room, by which time, weath might be better for more reliable pushing on outside again. :j:j

I should try and work out the MP3 player really, the CD player is in the study and so will have to be on really load or I have to rely on radio. Have to be careful not to get carried away and over do it and end up back at square one.

I love music. My stereo has got a bit old & past it, & I'm not looking to replace it yet. A lot of music is listened to in the car or walking. However, for in the home, & in the summer when outside, I was bought the following by someone:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003Y2XGBQ?psc=1

They're good - decent sound quality.

For christmas, someone bought me a set of these for the pc:

I cannot believe how FEW people have heard of lemon jelly. Especially as its been discussed in the thread before.

I think Lj and I favour different lemon jelly tracks though. Lj might be all about the ducks.

Nope, don't like the ducks, sorry. Liked Ramblin'man and a couple other tracks.

I think that beats just about anywhere else in terms of work bar polar ice caps.

What surprised me was that Lemon Jelly meant something.... I thought it was just your name and you liked lemon jelly .... the yellow wobbly stuff. I've never heard of Lemon Jelly, a band.

    The shock is phenomenal!

    Lets compare....

I first fell in love with "His Majesty, King Raam". That was the first song that really got me hooked. Amazing & blissful! The whole lemonjelly.ky album really is superb - A Tune for Jack, Page One, Come, all absolutely fantastic. Not a weak track on there.
Inbetween dot ky & Lost Horizons was the superb "Soft".
Lost Horizons has the "famous" ducks (not my fave lir, though a great track). Ramblin' Man & Closer are my particular faves.
64-95 is imo a stellar album. Works brilliantly as a whole. Love Come Down On Me, Stay With You, A Man Like Me, and Go!
Special mentions however will go to the afore mentioned "Soft", and also "Pushy".

I've bought pretty much every side project they've done too - Nick's Blacksand, Fred's Flashman (also superb!) & the lush Lets Be Frank, as well as his dj mixes.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
