Sun.... sun? Nope, not ringing any bells here, sorry....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

I want to bend them but AMA bit nervous to without someone saying.....do it.
The thing is, once it starts to get hard it gets brittle too. So, the process would be to heat it up - however, if you have any other parts/components that is likely to destroy them.
So it would depend on the metal, how it's constructed.
That's my notes without seeing it.0 -
It was sunny/bright for a while here earlier.... it's also absolutely tipped it down today ... and the wind's not lessened by much.
I went out to the coastal bits, but the tide heights are lower today, so less dramatic. This isn't really a coast for big waves/mayhem - it's a place where river waters are more likely to creep....0 -

You should be able to see how bendy they are just by trying. If you need to use too much effort then probably you shouldn't try.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Just to correct. Lydia's ex died when he was nearly her ex (post separation, pre divorce) hence she refers to him as LNE - late nearly ex.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Had anyone else forgotten what it looked like with the sun out?
The wind is howling in the way it does at our house often, but T least its doing so with the sun out!
This lunch time I was sitting in a meeting room at work, waiting for the meeting to begin. There was some lovely sunshine coming in through the windows, so I positioned myself to be right in the middle of it - perfect position with it falling on my back in a dark coloured cardigan that absorbed the warmth beautifully. Then somebody decided it was in their eyes and shut the curtain.
Just to correct. Lydia's ex died when he was nearly her ex (post separation, pre divorce) hence she refers to him as LNE - late nearly ex.

Thanks for the kind thought.
Sorry to hear you had a tough time when your ex moved abroad. Hope life is better for you now.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I read some posts sometimes on DFW, Bankruptcy, MFW, Pensions, Employment, green fingered, old style, families and the pets sub board where I look for kitten/dog pictures. :T
I have sought advice recently on pensions but mostly just read occasionally commenting or offer (inexpert) experience. I never look for bargains or trouble.
There are some self righteous posters who are judgmental of people who are plainly struggling, however there are many who will offer freely a realistic balanced perspective . When post begins "Am I being unreasonable..." there is often a kindly momentum of responses that say "yes, you are".
I like the armagedon threads where folk prepare and from the tone of it , look forward to, cold snaps, floods, gale force winds and the ruin that faces those of us without wind up torches.0 -
Other than this one the boards I tend to look at are Grabbit While You Can, Food Shopping, Discount Vouchers, Savings, and House Buying. I've developed a recent interest in the MFW board too
Otherwise, it depends on what else is going on at the time (e.g. I spent a bit of time on the Internet Access board last week. When I was in the process of house buying I read the Mortgages board quite a lot). I only tend to read the relationships board when I feel the need to remind myself that my life is pretty good really...0 -

No pictures, but a story.
Today the dogs and I did face time with DH. It was the first time the dogs had done this.
Big dog got nervous and asked to be let out of the room.
Kiwi wanted to ignore the screen and lick my face ( he and I had just before the call been talking about how much we both loved cats and he really just wanted to keep the love going and have me say 'meow' again '.
But dog dog, oh, it was so funny. Dog dog likes tv a fair bit. She likes you've been framed and some nature shows really. But seeing for on ''Tv '' was incredible to her.
She has often checked the back of the screen to see where the little dogs r animals have run off screen to, but to see fir she was checking the back and running run Nd trying to puppy bite macputer and was sniffing it confused. She loved him saying her name and was yapping excitedly to me in a sort of ...'I just knew they were real sort of way. I'd love to know what she thinks might be going on. Whether she thinks he is trapped in a box or what. She was way too excited and was trying to listen to DH, and was sitting and stuff when he told her, but was also really excited that he was on the. Screen and interacting with her, she found it hard to concentrate and was literally shaking in an excited way (greyhounds shake a lot.....cold, fear, excitement, anger.......manipulation,....anything, its sometimes hard to tell apart.)0
