OH has already done triathlons. So his progress is the other way round!

I have a slight (and slightly age inappropriate) crush on the Brownlee brothers. Almost enough to make me consider swimming, cycling then running. But not quite.

Mum and Dad are doing the same thing so I no longer have tomorrow afternoon to do the dusting, hoovering etc etc ... they've been warned!

I reckon he cooks things just so he has the leftovers to make the leftover dishes. I never have leftovers like he does!

Fingers crossed for good news in the New Year, viva and hope you enjoy your poinsettias!!

    Lovely tree, PN!!

One of the great things about meal planning across a week or so is you can see how left overs might be used if there are any as you think ahead. I admit I prefer left overs to the first meal often.

We are off on our travels tomorrow morning. First to Matlock for my only cousin's 70th birthday party, and then off to Norfolk for Christmas, where we will most probably be out of reach of the internet.

So, I'm going to wish everyone an early Happy Christmas. Have a great time.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I've got 12. Two I've never seen. The rest I've not seen for about 22 years (nan's funeral).

Oh gosh, I have nothing like. Dh's family is immense, but the 'cousins' are not all first and I lose track :o. The also do a confusing thing of calling themselves 'uncle' when they are not.

Obviously, war impact has meant some nephews or other family members were brought up alongside cousins s relationships are more sibling like. That was dh's dad generation....the kids some of whom would be cousins, but are called 'uncle' or 'aunt'
