Sorry to hear that lj. In the absence of any other reasons, could it be the time of year? I've found the past coupled of weeks a real struggle. I don't think it helps that the couple of weeks before the I was completely socially over-stimulated, and I've gone back to being a bit of a hermit, but I'm ready for hibernation.
I suppose it could be mild exhaustion. It's been pretty full on since august. Work usually calms down at the beginning of december. It hasn't, & has felt a bit relentless.
I know I'm not the only one at work annoyed/frustrated/fed up, a lot of people seem to be. Indeed, friends report similar.
I've only had 3 days off since the august bank holiday. 2 weeks off coming up. I hope that helps. Of course, I could just end up getting on everyones nerves, or they could get on mine!
I know I have moments where I get a grump on sometimes. Suppose we all do. There's usually a reason why though. This one has struck me as unusual, as there's no apparent trigger, which is why I'm mulling it over. Possibly too much...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Did you have windows in the old building jelly? Just thinking... if this is your first winter in the new place and you have less sunlight and are going in when it's dark and doing the same coming home, it gets pretty miserable as soon as the clocks go back. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Perhaps I should try stopping being a miserable so and so & focus on the fact that my health is ok, I'm employed, & I'm not really in a stage of crisis.
I'm just annoyed because stuff isn't how I want it to be. Probably selfishly...
Comparing is the road to misery.
Woes are woes. Sometimes its just a day to cry and rant a bit. The good days come later. If you fight the bad days all the days end up 'ok' and flat. No way to be.0 -

And/or, just move the s0ddin' radio into another room/socket.vivatifosi wrote: »Oh that sucks. Are there any signal boosters available? Will ticket prices fall enough to just turn up every week?
(cross posted with the significantly more knowledgeable pastures)
I have dropped some very obvious hints for a new radio for christmas.
Lets hope santa was listening.
Find it hard to justify over £20 a ticket regularly. There's loads of empty seats, so going isn't a problem, cost is!
However, on my other forum there are some exceptionally nice people, who have allowed me the use of a ticket a couple of times in exchange for a round of drinks. Which is lovely of them - I don't know them from Adam, yet they've taken me to the football. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Santa says he had the wire up against his head and was standing between chewy and the missus, but he thinks he got the message. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Yes we had big windows in the last place. Here there are much less. But we've been here 2 years now.
Plus, I've been moved (again) & now have a window. Terrible view (of a wall) but natural light at least!:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

A very interesting & attractive perspective LIR.
I do appreciate such things from NPT. I do "hear" perspectives that challenge my own perceptions/assumptions.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
