I know I'm not the only one at work annoyed/frustrated/fed up, a lot of people seem to be. Indeed, friends report similar.
I've only had 3 days off since the august bank holiday. 2 weeks off coming up. I hope that helps. Of course, I could just end up getting on everyones nerves, or they could get on mine!
I know I have moments where I get a grump on sometimes. Suppose we all do. There's usually a reason why though. This one has struck me as unusual, as there's no apparent trigger, which is why I'm mulling it over. Possibly too much...
I realised today I hadn't booked time off over Christmas yet, and that I had quite a lot of leave left to take (had been saving it in case it was needed). Think tomorrow will be my last day at work this year. I realised I've only had a couple of proper days off this year as I spent the rest of my leave in the office typing stuff. I've been pretty useless the past couple of weeks, and now it makes a bit more sense. I haven't taken a full days leave since getting the keys to here. Oops.
Hope you have a relaxing couple of weeks off, lj. And don't be too hard on yourself.0 -

Woes are woes. Sometimes its just a day to cry and rant a bit. The good days come later. If you fight the bad days all the days end up 'ok' and flat. No way to be.

The relentlessness of work seems a big enough reason to account for it to me. I know I get grumpy when it's been weeks since a day "properly off". (I have various categories of days off. "Properly off" means no work and no kids either!)Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Seeing as pics of trees are being posted:
You can't see the madness on the other 2 sides of the room though! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
