Well done AF - would you like to do the honours and post this up in the POPLA decision thread for us please - also can you confirm whether it was an Assessor (give name) or the Lead Adjudicator. Thanks.

This has been a growing trend recently where many PPCs are simply throwing in the towel so to speak.

Make no mistake. If your appeal had not been one honed by the advice from the forum, then the PPC would have put in their case. So don't feel that you wasted any time or effort on this.

They are not stupid and currently getting spanked by forum aided appeals citing contract and GPEOL costs them time and money so not offering a defence is pragmatic.

That is why I contend that for the time being, a paragraph added to the 4point std appeal saying that the appeal is being forum aided, that the appellant is well aware of recent POPLA and court decisions which do not accept the PPC contracts and GPEOL and that the appellant will take it to the wire, with full assistance from forum members. This may get the PPC to fold at appeal time.
