My POPLA appeal is due to be heard on February 24th or very soon after that but I have still not received anything from Parking Eye whereas from what I've read on here I was expecting them to send me a 60 odd page document containing their 'evidence'. Should I inform POPLA or should I just let things just run their course?0

send it monday morning (or sunday night) but at the moment they arent defending a decent popla appeal so you may get nothing at all and a default judgement like some others have had recently
anything you were told was based on current and past experience, but things seem to have changed in the last 2 weeks or so, not just with PE either
or let it run its course0 -

They have 28 days to get it to you so they are out of time. Email Richard Reeve of POPLA

Dear Mr Reeve,
Re POPLA case xxxxxx.
I have not received the evidence pack from parkingeye within the 28 days deadline.
In line with the contract signed by POPLA on 23rd Dec 2013, point 9.1 requires the operators to submit their evidence within 28 days. As they have not done this, they are out of time and I request that any evidence submitted after this deadline to be marked as invalid.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
Do as HooHoo suggests above though it looks like this may be another bottle out case by Parking Eye then - no evidence pack submitted. - You should win by default.0

Thanks, that's very helpful, but who exactly is Mr Reeve of POPLA and is his e-mail address known to be still current? They have 28 days to get it to you so they are out of time. Email Richard Reeve of POPLA

He is the tribunal manager or some such and oversees the administrative side of POPLA. His email is still current, but you can always copy in enquiries@popla.org.uk just to be on the safe sideHi, we’ve approved your signature. It's awesome. Good news! I had an e-mail this morning from POPLA to say that my appeal has been allowed! However, I didn't win on the usual grounds, I won simply because Parking Eye didn't submit a single piece of evidence to either POPLA or myself and so POPLA had no option but to allow my appeal.
I'm extremely pleased with the outcome, although feeling a little cheated perhaps that the appeal that I spent weeks and weeks honing using all the advice from everyone on here wasn't the main reason for the successful outcome.
Many, many thanks to everyone who has helped me on here. I'm very grateful for all your advice and if it wasn't for all of you on this forum I'd probably have paid up and been a miserable sod for months afterwards!
Here is the text of the appeal decision:
It is the Appellant’s case that the parking charge notice was issued incorrectly.
The Operator has not produced a copy of the parking charge notice, nor any evidence to show a breach of the conditions of parking occurred, nor any evidence that shows what the conditions of parking, in fact, were.
Accordingly I have no option but to allow the appeal.0
