    Great news about the time off with Mr Hbbb:T You work too hard :)

    Mum??? What have you done with Janey? :rotfl: Seriously though, yes, you're right ... I'm always being told off for it! Am definitely looking forward to a mini-break though ... it'll be nice just to wake up and plod for a few days, no rushing, no deadlines, no "have-tos"!

    Me! :j:j:j But who's got it today? Give it back:rotfl:

    :wave:

    Hi Janey ...

    It's not here today either. Mr. Hbbb insisted on lunch at the garden table so myself and 2 SDS nearly froze to our seats - and I had three layers on!

    Hope you've had an easy day! x

    Hope you're all happy and relaxed from the weekend!

    ;)MFW actions:

    * NSD
    * Store cupboard lunch and dinner ~ along with freshly harvested garlic, lettuce, broadbeans and strawberries!
    * Completed final input for another RM survey so another £5 voucher should be on its way soon.
    * Updated calendar with the payment days for the students (it's a slightly odd system so it's useful to see when it's coming in with relation to when I might need to get shopping in etc).

    Trying not to be stressed about my stuck wages and plateau'd SMASH total as I'm sure it's going to be smashed all in a rush at the end of the month and then once the student money starts coming through ... fingers crossed.
    So, the usual score on the door SMASH day 15 / 100 = £ 250 / £ 3,000!

    :(Grey Clouds:
    Working most of the day, not superbly productively but hey ho!
    * No nibbles yet from Fr*day Ad or GT about my tumble drier. May reduce it by £5 in week and try again, we'll see!

    :)Silver linings:
    Early night on the cards!

    :p Daily declutter:
    Nothing today as all busy with other stuff, but freecycler has been in touch about a pickup tomorrow, so should be able to boost this then! Total = 186 / 365 (would like to get this rounded up to 200 by the end of the month if possible)!

    :DSimple pleasures:
    * Baby sparrows starting to peep out of the bird house!
    * My bites don't itch any more - woo hoo!
    * Mum home safely from holiday, will catch up Friday for meal out with her and step-dad (our treat as part of their "calendar of fun" presents from Christmas ~ all budgeted for in yet another special purse)! I know you lot will understand the role of my pots and purses ... Mr.Hbbb doesn't at all!

    Hope everyone gets a good week x

    Thanks A, that's kind of you!

    I felt refreshed-ish to start with but have become increasingly antsy throughout the day :o

    Hope your Monday was good!

    ;) MFW actions:

    * NSD
    * Email sent yet again to client about releasing payment ... it's visible in the holding account, my work has been approved by the team leader but still it hasn't been released ... yet they've been offering me more work all day!

    SMASH day 16 / 100 = £ 250 / £ 3,000 (watch this space for the end of the month though, all my hopes are pinned on it)!

    :(Grey Clouds:
    Other people making plans on my behalf, ignoring the fact that I work at home very hard and my days are swamped, but confirming plans with others and telling me about it afterwards ... this is not how I roll :cool:
    Not being able to say how I feel because other people have their own problems including the fact that they have not only put their head over the parapet in the workplace, but also today they have dug in their heels over a certain institution-wide expectation. This head and heels position is a very uncomfortable, not to say vulnerable, one indeed.

    :) Silver linings:
    I have a small unexpected spend coming up tomorrow, but is very much a need, not want! I spend far too much time at computer for work but sitting on a dining chair which is killing my back & neck. Have been after an ergonomic kneeling chair for ages but these are £100+ which I just can't justify at the mo.

    However, with my foray into Fr*day Ad territory with tumble drier, I found an almost new one for £15! Phoned today thinking it will already have been sold but it's still available and the kind people are even going to drop it off to me as they are coming over to town here tomorrow (they are two towns over) so very, very happy!

    :p Daily declutter:

    One pile of newspapers up to henhouse, two bags of bubble wrap / recycled packaging to Freecycler who's moving house, so that's 189 / 365!

    :DSimple pleasures:
    * Helpful strangers
    * Being grumpy locked away in the bathroom so that the sunny disposition can still be presented as needed elsewhere in the house!
    * Purple blooms finally coming out on the arch ... Will get a photo tomorrow if it's bright!

    Hope you all had a happy Monday! x

  • Chair sounds great... But I can't visualise it...
    Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
    Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
