* catch up with some diaries - mostly done, haven't forgotten you A*M and P*M but tomorrow is another day ...!
Firstly, :rotfl: on the innovative pegging style, garlic drama and jabs for babies. There's never a dull moment in Hbbb Land!
So glad to hear the yarn bomb meeting went well, and what an exciting thing to be a part of! I love yarn bombing(And it's yet another reason why I'm changing work things, so I actually have some energy to go out and be part of all these fun things!).
Loved reading all your April goals, there's no better feeling than striking things off a listI can't remember if I wrote this, but I can get a 12lb variation just by moving my scales around the bathroom (new scales or new floorboards needed do you think)?
Sorry to hear that Mr Hbbb might have some ongoing health complaints, it's a wonder what a bit of a change of lifestyle can do to help when illness comes knocking though (as we both know!), I hope things settle down for him soon. You've done so well in just a few months with grabbing hold of the reins which makes all the difference.* Making other people smile (not out of pity, I hasten to add, but it's not like that doesn't happen with worrying frequency)!* Spending time in garden with OH, we like building our nest togetherWe're nesters over here too. :smileyhea Almost literally, now I come to think of it. Talking of the which...
Re: birds of prey in unusual places - we have peregrine falcons nearby (right in the centre of the city), one took a pigeon out right in front of our previous 4th floor flat window, all I saw was a puff of feathers. Last year the baby ones managed to slaughter several pigeons and leave them strewn half-munched all around, it was pretty gruesome(!). Hope the chickadees are feeling a bit more settled now.
PS. Ooh, M&S corner shop! Lucky you, ours is Tesko, and then we're sandwiched by two other big Teskos. To be fair, it's probably better this than the days when I lived right by Waitflower, as I did gain a lot of weight then (reduced desserts ). I did get paid 50p to take home two boxes of mince pies once though, oh those were the days.

Re birds of prey.
A couple of years ago, a bird of prey, (not sure what it was), landed in our garden, with a dove in it's beak.
It then proceeded to tear to dove apart and eat it - the only thing left was a pile of feathers.
It was horrifying but compelling to watch - the way the bird of prey when about it's task was very efficient.
It only happened the once, which I'm pleased about, but it was an amazing thing to see on the back lawn.Early retired - 18th December 2014

I would forgive the innovative pegging style. Asked Mr Watty to hang out washing and he happily agreed. Came home to find all the ironing hung out and the wet washing on worktop. He (a) did not notice the wet washing and (b) did not notice everything he was hanging out was very dry. And there was A LOT of it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Bless him. At least the ironing had a blow outside again to refresh it after its long wait for some attention.:)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

How big is the fishing hut you're knitting? I have visions of your stash disappearing as you knit it ...
Sleep well x
Hi A*M ... It will be a scale model (not sure what scale - except "smaller" at this stage! Will have to ask a fisherman what the rough ratio of width to height is then go from there once I've measured the girth of the lamp-post which is to be cunningly concealed as one!
Would you know, the darnedest thing is I only have the smallest amount of black in my stash! The group are good at getting donated yarn though, so am making the design and hoping they will be able to get some for me. I can start the seagull from my stash though!
Slept very well, thanks, hope you're rested too! XStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I love that!!!
Clearly it seems that - in general - the menfolk have a lot to learn about washing!!! My DH doesn't know how to use the WM (when I went away for a week last year our then just-4year old had to show him how to turn it on....!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:) And as for hanging it out... he makes the teens do it - and they have *innovative* pegging styles too.... He can iron, though - although I suspect that he won't be doing very much of this at all nowI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200
