Hi, I've just been browsing your diary - I like your daily summaries.
I see you are on a de-cluttering mission.
I'm a committed de-clutterer too, I've been doing it on and off for 5 years. Last year, I set myself a target of 365, and did about 380.
We are not wildly cluttered anymore, so it's getting tougher. I think I've de-cluttered around 80 things so far this year. Most of the things are larger items in the loft, so it's quite slow getting a few down, and eBaying them. Don't want to get to much down at once, otherwise the house will re-clutter!
The garage and shed need looking at too, but i want to sort the loft first.
I'll look in to your diary againEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I am impressed with the diet focus, well done. It is on my to do list. Decluttering is also one of my favourite things and I really thought I had done it all but still got a big bag full for the guides bring and buy today, although not sure anyone will want any of it!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

Thanks for stopping by GG!
I still have piles of stuff to go but most of it is cluttering up the innards of cupboards and the garage, not so much around the house any more! I don't really buy much, not for years since I was alone with my boys for a while, but when I do buy I try to go with an in - out rule, to stop clutter building back up.
What I am though is a hoarder so the stuff I have has been around for years! I dread one day having to start in the loft, I'll be interested to see how you get on with that!

Grim and grotty day here today, proper rain! The butt which was empty at the weekend is now overflowing again!MFW actions: NSD, soup dinner from store cupboard so no food spends today either.
Grey Clouds: clients who change the spec 2/3 of the way through the project.
Silver lining: popped into town with Mr. Hbbb as he wanted to spend a birthday voucher and I had Fleabay parcels to post (I don't count this as spending as it's the buyers who pay the postage, not me). He bought me a pink pen, very pleased with this (as in writes with pink ink). Will brighten up my work diary a treat!
Got soaked though, lucky we had poodly pooch cut the other week otherwise she and i would have had that real dog -owner lookalike thing going, with my rain-swept curls today!Daily Declutter: 3 more parcels into post = 117 / 365
Simple pleasures:
* Listening to old playlist on Spotify whilst working, great to zone out with good tunes!
* Soooo close to getting Mrs. Blackbird to hand feed, trouble is my big black dog snuck up behind me today and scared her off.
* Soup for teaStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Just popped in to catch up...you have inspired me to get back to decluttering. Am going to do something right now ....
Cant return the favour with diet inspiration ... sorrry...Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Mixed old weather here, touch of the April showers!
What I did:
* Work
* Successful start with the uni project, good meeting, scary amount of work to be done in short time though :eek:
* Evening walks with OH and pooches
What I didn't:
* Much decluttering or housework (although it's always aggravating trying to do housework when OH is off and any of the off-spring are around - it literally just feels like clearing up after them)!MFW action: NSD
Grey Clouds: Seem to nearly back at original weight. Have no idea why (I didn't eat all the leftover birthday cake, honest)! Stupid thing is I actually feel slimmer today (or is that just less bloated).
Silver linings: Long but productive work day. It was only long because we broke it up a bit with other things (perk of working at home and for self). I went to uni project meeting whilst OH went to nearby gallery then I met him in there afterwards for an hour (membership was part of his birthday present, so no spend on admission). He did buy me a herb tea though, but that was his spend!
Daily Declutter: Mr Hbbb decided to have himself a bonfire this evening after dog walk, so he helped me out by burning a box of stuff from garage which was waiting for me to shred (by hand as we haven't got a shredder). It went up in smoke instead! Total = 118 / 365.
Simple pleasures:
* Actually taking work breaks and looking up and around.
* Mr and Mrs Osprey are reunited according to Osprey cam! can't wait till there's the flutter of tiny wings :T
* Uni project partner has invited me to a knitting project, to yarn bomb part of the old town! Very excited!
Hope everyone's OK! XStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
