    Evenin' all and TFI Friday!

    ;) MFW actions:

    * NSD 5/7, so happy with that!
Today's AA action was to try to chase Skittish Power again as my credit refund still hasn't come through. No success but another kind MSE-er has given me the MD's email addy so I'll be rattling a little missive in that direction next week!

I'm holding the purse strings tight and holding off on a MOP for a moment as I'll have to get some extra groceries in now that the student is coming tomorrow, but hopefully I'll be able to do a little more before the end of the month.
    So, AA day 56 / 100 = £909 / £2,000.

    :( Grey Clouds:

    Mr. Hbbb with work.
    Me with stinking headache.
Garden glut of courgettes is now finished, so frugal food end of things will require even more imagination!
Fireworks already going off around here, big dog is beside herself.

    :) Silver Lining:

    It's the weekend.

    :p Daily Declutter:

Old catalogue cleared from work room into recycling.
    Body scrub use up completed.

    So total now 315 / 365.

    :D Simple pleasures:

    * Cheeky dog who keeps sneaking into the garage to try to steal DSD 2's rugby ball.
    * DVD night and knitting!

    Happy weekend all!

    Happy weekend one and all!

    ;) MFW actions:

Had a small grocery spend today to get fresh fruit and veg etc. So this week's NSDs = 5 /7.

AA actions: sent Mr Hbbb off with my last pennies till end of the month (£30 as I've had to add a little to the food budget now that we are unexpectedly having student), gave him clear instructions to make it go as far as possible but didn't hold my breath as he was going to his favourite shop (L*dl) and usually comes back with 'useful' things like horse blankets and weather stations. But he came back with three bags of shopping and £13 change! :T

    AA day 57 / 100 = £909 / £2,000

    :( Grey Clouds:

    * Girls are holding out on us ... no eggs at all today!
    * After yesterday's monumental headache I appear to have spent today in the throes of one long hot flush! Safe to say the hormone years are upon me!

    :) Silver linings:

    * We achieved masses today, although we were pooped by the end of it.
    * Student seems extremely nice, very polite and clean (qualities which we've learned not to take for granted)! :rotfl:
    * Upside of hot flush malarkey is that it's been quite good not having to wear my usual three layers by this time of year ... may also be a good move for not having to have heating on till much later in the month!

    :p Daily declutter:

Have included pooches in toiletry use up campaign. Both have been bathed and dregs of 3 different mutt shampoos used up. They are not impressed with my endeavours although they smell better for it!
Also decluttered two dried up mascaras from my make up drawer.
6 more items put onto Freegle, but won't count those out unless they go.
    New total for today = 320 / 365

    :D Simple pleasures:

    * Humour as a stress buster ~ Mr. Hbbb and I had long talk over breakfast about his current situation.
We now know for sure he's not paranoid or misreading the signals because a colleague who's a good friend and also a rep for another Union (and also happens to be on the management team) took him to one side yesterday and warned him to watch his back for knives and to start keeping a log of what's happening because he can see that things aren't looking good for him (awful, just awful).
We then put on a random playlist on Spottyfry (free version of course) to cheer us up during chore time and first random song to pop up? Subterranean Homesick Blues aka "don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows", so we had a good laugh about the universe being on our side and danced with the dogs in the kitchen instead!
    * Bonding with student this evening using the universal language of dominoes, uno and Jenga (as Mr. Hbbb was out with DSD2 for an event in town).

Hope everyone else has had a good one! (Hugs fully available if needed) x
