Hi Habibboo, sending you and your DH tons of positive vibes about the future. The stress he is under must be so difficult for you both. Fingers crossed this ends up the right way, with time to regroup and recover.
Very best wishes, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Oh Hbb , how rotten for you both! Not just the germs and bugs, but the whole workplace scenario. Like Tilly, everything will be crossed for you . Except for 35 mins Thurs am and pm when I'm on my bike...
I've moved on from MMM to ERE now! But it's the Tilly Tidies that keep me sane! Hang in there xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thanks Tilly, I appreciate your kind words and I know you've been there yourselves and come through the other side, so it's great to have the support. It's just horrible to see him so unlike himself, with sickness and stress and not be able to help.
Have managed to make him smile a couple of times today (although that might have been wind and bellyache, of course).
Cheers Tilly xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Thanks A*M, appreciate your comments and crossings (glad to know you are prioritising cycling safely there though)!
Get you with the acronyms ... MMM - Mr. Money Moustache? Find his site a bit annoying actually so have just read a few articles over there (I feel I've read far more relevant and helpful info on threads over here, to be honest).
So, ERE eh? Don't know that one ... are you ready to reveal all? xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Hope you don't mind me jumping in - think ERE is Early Retirement Extreme, another site where someone has retired ridiculously early. Google it - it's worth a read
hope your DH is feeling better and sorry to hear about the work stuff.

Mr HBB may find the talk will help - the fear of the unknown is often worse than the reality - once you know what you are facing you can start to plan.
Hope he's feeling a bit better.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Love what GallyGirl said. Once you know you can plan. Our household has been under the threat of Mr Watty's job being restructured and outsourced / changed / laid off /made to move to a different shift pattern blah de blah for so long (like 10 years) that I find it hard to summon any interest here. Sounds awful I know but he keeps saying its really real this time but errr... I think he said back in the dark ages. I just keep overpaying and hoping ....
Chin up and away with the bugsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Appreciate you jumping in S*F, it's lovely to see you! Early Retirement Extreme eh? Could do with one of those as a challenge, especially as I think a MFi3 is going to be just out of reach!
Ta for good wishes, at the moment I think Mr. Hbbb would be quite happy to retire gracefully! xMr HBB may find the talk will help - the fear of the unknown is often worse than the reality - once you know what you are facing you can start to plan.
Hope he's feeling a bit better.I'm sure you're right there G*G, one of those better over with things and as you say, at least we'll know what we're facing. I think he's just additionally spooked because (a) he's feeling grotty and (b) the appointment is in the last week of term (which is in theory the last in-school week of the notice period required for leaving at Christmas). Hmm, but we're not dwelling on that! x

Thanks GreenT, still full of germs but hey ho, tis the time of year. once recovered we can then have our flu jabs and my pneumonia jab! :rotfl:Love what GallyGirl said. Once you know you can plan. Thanks Watty ... gawd, sounds like you're very worldy wise to all that jazz. My BIL gets put through it all exactly the same each year and each year he survives until the next round ... I'm sure he and my sis would be terribly shocked if it actually happened!
But as you say, onwards and upwards, or Tilly Tidying all over the place as a precaution!
Hugs! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
