I do enjoy your simple pleasures! Hope all is going well for Mr HB,
Squirrel xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
You have your own 'Petit Prince'!
You do a beautiful swan impression - totally dignified.
Love the image of scruffy dog vs leaf blower!
Looking forward to your news later on. xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I am up for Uno so long as you don't do what my Dad did with scrabble and tell me the wrong rules.0

Only one egg again today. It occurs to me that the 3 little muppets might be upset by all the recent fireworks around here. Any thoughts on this MWC?
Could be Hbbb... no such problems here as I haven't heard a single firework... 5 eggs today from 8 chooks (of the 3 that didn't lay, 1 is in retirement, 1 is mid-moult, 1 has no excuse!)

Hbbb! I'm in the midst of a major catchup and am miles back in your diary, but wanted to pop up and say hello and also give out some HUGE HUGS for you & Mr Hbbb during these upsetting work times. I, alas, know these things all too well and it's a frightful thing to go through, hope things get sorted soon and life chippers up exceedingly without delay!
Yay for good news coming in other areas though, I'm looking forward to hearing all about it
Well done on the sorting out of notepads - as a fellow stationary-fiend I know how a) difficult such a task can be to face at times and yet b) how liberating it is to battle that pesky notepad overload! Three cheers for more declutterisation! :T
Now I must away, and burrow back down to where I last left your diary, looking forward to getting up to speed on all the latest shenanigans! xxxa penny picker upper. I tend to stockpile used notepads, just in case I need the notes.
Needless to say, I've never needed to look at the notes, and even if I did, I'm quite sure I'd never be able to find the right page.
So tomorrow, I'm going to have a small declutter of notepads.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Thanks SSS ... yup, we're all about the simple stuff here! Thanks for Mr HB thoughts, this week has continued in the same vein as last really but the closer we're getting to Friday, the more cheerful he's becoming! xAlchemilla wrote: »I am up for Uno so long as you don't do what my Dad did with scrabble and tell me the wrong rules.

Thanks for that MWC ... there's always one with no excuse but an innocent "what, me?" innocent expression!
Today we finally had 2 eggs after 10 days of 0 or 1 a day! I have a bet on with Mr. Hbbb that they'll just get back to normal then Hallowe'en and Bonfire Night will be upon us and off lay they'll go again! :rotfl:Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!
