Great with the job. As someone who has spent the last 8 years tied to a desk and computer and the last 3 years working alone I totally get that you feel the need to get out with others. I understand that. I do too but sadly wouldn't find work that allowed me to be so casual with my hours and pay as much! But good for you for find something. Hurrah :j
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Hurrah, and more hurrahs to the job that sounds interesting and worthwhile. Also props to more time to do WHAT YOU WANT. I think that you will really enjoy just a bit less pressure especially if you do get more students.

I find that a heaped spoon of anything really just means two............

    :T:T:T CONGRATULATIONS!!:T:T:T

Yay to getting paid the same for working less hours!

    Yay to chooks laying again!

Ha ha to the 'stash' comprising 60 !:rotfl:! balls only!

Hope tea was worthy of the build-up you gave it. And I reckon 1 heaped tblsp of syrup means you shove it all the way to the bottom of the tin and scoop up as much as you can. If it is a small tin, oronly half-full, do it twice! (just suggesting this off the top of my head. Never done it myself, you umderstand...)

Brilliant news about the job, and it sounds as if it'll be interesting.

Have you got a starting date yet?

    * I trimmed my fringe to meet with new worky type people and realised that my fringe is now officially given over to grey! Growing it out is a long job but now if I put my hair up I can get an idea of my grey 'look'. It's not too bad really, I'm definitely going to have a white stripe though! Hopefully it'll give me a dignified and glamorous Susan Sontag look, rather than a skunk!
    Grey hair rocks :T:T:T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Hello,

Very well done on the job front - sounds like a perfect compromise and more steps towards the greater good. Good luck with everything. X:j
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

I hope that you are both OK HBBBO. In fact I am hoping that you managed a break for half term.
