Wowza!!!!
I feel SUPER loved!!!
Hennooooooooo everyone! I am back. I meant to come back sooner but it has been hectic in a super fantabulously good Christmas way!!
Jelly is currently jumping up and down on a giant keyboard matt rolled out in front of Christmas TV which she is ignoring. I am stuffed full of chocolate, gingerbread, stollen and other naughty goodies. I had pate on toast for breakfastand I just discovered the prawns I set aside for today actually went out of date on the 24th. Steaming as I bought them on the 23rd  - should have checked but just assumed everything would be ok until today!
My Christmas Dinner was just... wow. I cooked the lamb to absolute perfection, and on taking it out of the wrapping discovered it was actually enormous!! For £6.80 there is enough to make at least half a dozen more meals... - I made dairy free yorkshire puds, which rose to fluffy perfection!
Apple gf flour 140g, 4 eggs, 200ml of milk of choice - sieve the flour into a bowl, add the eggs and mix together until fairly mixed, then add the milk in bits at a time. I did it about 45 minutes to an hour before I popped them in the oven, and kept whipping some air into them every now and again, and they were just fantastic!! Jelly ate THREE! (Our milk of choice was unsweetened Soya)
So... Christmas has been just fantastic. I have eaten, not drunk a drop and been all the merrier for it. I have been spoiled rotten, as has Jelly. There were so many presents opened at one point that we have a Where's Wally style picture... spot the Jelly. And the best bit is, she was binning the paper as she went and we were removing all of the debris, so all that is in the pic is purely Jelly's gifts. Mine weren't even opened until after 11am! Jelly did not wake up until 8:30am!!!I was awake for ages before that!
We must have opened presents for three hours. And then once all had been inspected, put away as required, and the house back to some kind of liveable state, we all got showered and went out with Jelly's Christmas babies in their new pram. Lovely afternoon walk, wearing my lovely new jumper, with my phone charging in my pocket from an extra special super dooper battery charger that my mumma has bought for me and my sister each! So good, charges multiple objects at once, lasts forever
We shall gloss over knocking the giant wall clock off the wall, resulting in a skirting board missing huge chunks of ancient paint and a fair bit of flaky wood... and mummy's cut finger from trying to bend the long hand back into shape!!
After Jelly went to bed last night, I finally got to play with my main present with Him. We played Super Mario on the WiiU for a couple of hours, Both in our onesies; gifts from Him's mum.
Today has been more of the same, good food, good company, a very cheerful little lady and a trip out onto the Leas to play on Jelly's new scooter. Complete with helmet, knee and elbow pads. She looked a doll!
I will post up some pics shortly but I have to email them to myself!
I hope that everyone else has had the most fabby Christmas. There was not one argument in this house. Him has been helpful, courteous, loving and generous with his time and money. We have so many games to play on the WiiU that no one can fail to find something they enjoy. I absolutely loved my time on there last night. It's the first time I have had fun on a gaming console in 15+ years since they got far too technical for me!!Super Mario, and the whole WiiU thing seems to be aimed at harking back to the days when my generation were kids/early teens and consoles were less complicated. Not quite the Atari, Pong, Space Invaders etc, but just simple fun 2D platforms
So I have spent nothing for the last 2 days and do not intend to spend today, unless Apple have some kind of mad discount and I am forced to actthanks for the tip!!!
Off to peruse a few online stores I wish for nothing from, then have a looksee through diaries if time allows.
Merry Christmas to all.... xx
