I wrote January?!?!?! *goes back to check* oh my... In my defence, it has been a very long day! Not that long mind you!! :rotfl: - Lucky you have no idea how much I would love for you to be able to sleep a month away
Billie I am very lucky, being by the police station that I have Mr A, Lidl, Morries, Sainsbugs & a Tosco Express all within walking/carrying distance! The big Tosco is walking distance from work, as is the big Mr S. I am spoilt for choice! I will give them all a try tomorrow. Sadly Aldi is a bus journey away in Hythe or I would try there too!! How lovely of you to think of a lift! Honestly, I will find my lamb if I have to do a 10 mile round trip of each of the shops a couple of times, it's all good exercise!!! I like walking. FiL offered me a lift TO the supermarket today. He used to make me get in his car for the 2 minute drive to the train station when I lived in Deal as well.. :rotfl: I am sure he thinks the sea air will shrink me.
apple if my fridge door didn't spontaneously open if I don't shut it carefully each time i go in for milk, I would be there with Jelly in an instant!!all this food must not go to waste. heck I think I could do without the lamb, the amount of veg I've got. Just shove on a few homemade yorkshires and no one will notice
I have explained everything to YNAB. My Xmas shopping was only fractionally overbudget. I forgot another expense this month so a few squid sent that way. My household budget was way over this month but I have gotten a whole huge set of new baking trays etc, and restocked the cupboards full of bleach etc so all good. Groceries, over what I wished for of £100 but way under what I would usually have spent. I averaged out the grocery shop down to the last item as to whether it was Xmas, normal groceries, or household. All in all, not far over each budget but over in every category. Luckily the child benefit came in so have made everything in the black again with that. Not something I want to repeat each month mind you!
I am snuggled in bed, with my tiger balm on my back, my tablets ready to take and I am having an early night.
Hugs to all. Sleep tight peeps... Only 3 more sleeps to go. Unless you believe my earlier statement, in which case we all missed Xmas, go back to sleep!

OMG!!! How did I miss all that?? Just taken me half my lunch hour to catch up.
I don't want to upset you by going back to old stuff Lilty but I think you are a saint for putting up with what you do. After two rotten relationships I know for a fact I wouldn't put up with pooooop again. You are so much better than that. I am raging on your behalf but I will leave it there as I'm not sure I could keep control of myself if I type much more. ((((((hugs))))))
How lovely to have full cupboards with all the Christmas goodies. Sounds great to meMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

I got it!! I got it!!!!
We were off out the door as fast as Jellys little legs could carry her this morning down to Mr S. There were about 10 stacked all together, not even covering a third of the shelf designated for them so am so grateful that we were there at half 8 not half 11 as I think, judging by the number of people in there, they would have been gone again long before now!!
Lamb, £11.30, with £4.50 voucher off:D Gammon joint £7. Half a tonne of cough related soothers as the house is coming down again. Still avoided buying any chocolates or mince pies
Have spent an hour on the park with Jelly, swinging and climbing and sliding. Wishing she would nap but it isn't looking likely. She had me up at the crack of dawn today! We are now officially 'IN' for Christmas. No more shops, but a trip to the park again tomorrow, and a trip out on The Leas with madams new scooter on the big dayother than that it is pyjamas and snugglies all week
!
It is... DAY FOUR of my 19 day holiday!!!!!!!!!!

I said I avoided BUYING them... :rotfl: - I was gifted many a box of chocolates, and although I recycled some for lovely neighbour, I still have 4 boxes of various chocs! I cracked and opened a tub of pringles and the Quality Streets earlier
I only had 1 QS though. What is that all about?!
May I just thank Ludovico Einaudi for sending my princess off to sleep next to me after much play, giggling, tickling and roughhousing on the bed
