  • Showing off to his friends is more important to him than making his partner and child happy? Childish - And my rule is if you behave like an irresponsible child you get treated like a child. Would you let Jelly loose down the shops with a twenty? It won't be long before she's more responsible - my DD can't believe her father still has to have pocket money - at 15 Shes got her own wage and bank account.

Hope you are okay Lilty. Don't forget your invisible shield - nobody can hurt you unless you give them permission.

  • Ah what a supporting world this is. Thank you so so much all of you. I hope you know how truly greatly appreciated you all are.

I am beginning to relax. The budgets are not as busted as I feared. Rejigging of some money I was paid from fleabay has covered all the miscellaneous spends for Himself. Frankly I now do not care if or what he pays me. I am done paying for things he wants now. If he didn't bring his wallet (age old trick he permanently plays) then it ain't getting bought. Likewise I will start to keep cash in my purse for expenditure I occasionally have to ask himself if I can borrow. There shall be no hypocrisy in this house.

Shields up SuperDave. Just like good old Planet Earth appears to have according to recent finds. I have also set my plasma gun to 'stun' to stop me inflicting unrecoverable damage on Him. This Christmas shall not be marred. Jelly needs a good end to the year and so do I.

Off to prod a warm ham and cover it in sticky stuff xx

  • I'm sorry you've had a rubbish time lilt, you deserve a much happier christmasy time than this.

Good idea, not giving him any more money. He obviously wants a bit too much.

    Lots of hugs
  • Good lass. Don't forget hes 'looking for attention' so don't feed it. :)

I too am sending hugs ...... certainly wouldn't allow friends in my house whilst he was supposed to be looking after Jellytot! But it is not for me to say anything. Agree don't ruin the Christmas that you deserve, unfortunately others have a knack of doing that, but enjoy your time off with darling Jely, look forward to buying the MAC thingy that you have saved for and deserve and most of all enjoy that mouth watering ham!! YOU ARE ONE CLEVER GIRL AND NEED TELLING NOW AND AGAIN. YOU DESERVE BETTER. No more being said but I am sending loads of hugs xxxxxx. Said at beginning of this reply not for me to say and then said it, sorry x

Lilt :grouphug: I agree it is time to stop pandering to him, sort you and Jelly out and he either takes what's on offer or does with out.
:naughty: he really doesn't deserve you.

one day he will realise but until that light bulb switches...... :wall:

  • You lovely people. I will reply more later but first I am spamming the forums with this little beauty

Boom - Anyone want YNAB at 25% off?!?!?!? No referalls, just create a 'Steam' account and download Steam, then pay for it through STeam. You don't have to open it via Steam everytime, but at £22.49 buy yourself the best Christmas present you could wish for at a knocked down price. I got 20% off and still paid £28 and I have saved that much at least 20x over in the last 6 months!!

If you need any help just mail me as I am at work and will only get emails about private messages til I finish!!! Go now, the sale is always quick!!

  • Love the picture not loving the news about HIM.

Jelly and you both deserve someone who is there for you, having only recently read through perhaps you should read some of your earlier posts? (not trying to be harsh but you were so strong!!)

Good luck either way you should be SO proud!

Also, just in case it helps I have an NUS card - that gives me apple student discount. I have no idea but can I help you get a discount on your mac? I understand why you want one they are amazing!! x

I am pretty enraged on your behalf.

It's your damn house, and your rules. Too bad if he doesn't want to be reminded of his responsibilities in front of mates. The one thing guaranteed to make me breathe fire is to come home from work to find a house that is a sh*t heap, and partner clearly not actually doing very much all day. (boyfriend once expressed concern that some of his friends are a bit afraid of me - at least afraid to leave our house in a state. My response - good. A little bit of healthy fear is no bad thing ;) )

You are a wise lady but you have lots of people simmering on your behalf, so hopefully we can seethe and you can at least enjoy your Christmas!

You'll know from my posts that sometimes my boyfriend is not the world's most mature man, but he would absolutely do anything for me and picking stuff up from a shop is not onerous. There is no earthly reason you don't deserve a similar kind of treatment.
