  • Squeaky peeps!! How goes it? In Liltyland the weather is fine. I managed an entire day at work painkiller free. Cheers last nights dihydrocodeine, mixed with 2x antihistamines and amitriptyline courtesy of me forgetting the antihistamines during the day! Slept rather well although I woke a few times.

Billie yes flower - last day on Friday for 19 whole days!!! I am back at work the 7th January!

Peaty how are you flower? I am not being stingy over money ;) I just spent £41.99 on pyjamas  for me, Him & Jelly. Then when I realised I busted my Xmas budget, he said he will pick up the tab since I 'pay the rent and stuff' :rotfl: Billie see not so bad... Lol!

SS hmmm. Amazing stuff how they manage to be so super stingy and yet spend our money like water. Him genuinely has no idea how much my flat costs to run a month in direct debits. Let alone the groceries etc on top!

I am once again too tired to YNAB. I really need to go explain... Lol.

Jelly had her Christmas party and met Santa today... <3

  • Awww :o thanks ladies! I am not a fan of her hair in bunches, but I needed something to peg the tinsel to!! :D lol.

Nursery teacher said she looked beautiful, kept her clean all morning & said she behaved beautifully and ate only the plate of food that I sent for her. Have to laugh. I spent half a day making it all and plating up crustless sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls, dairy free angel cake and half a mince pie, pigs in blankets and cocktail sausages... she had the best plate there by far, no wonder she stuck to her own food!!! :rotfl:

Having a rubbish day at work. Waiting on so many other people to provide m,e with information that I don't have enough work to keep me going. So I am bored, the day is going slowly, and the time I will have to spend on the 2 urgent things I need to do this week is slowly dwindling away to nothing!!

Him is off to a meal out with friends tonight which means I can relax once he has left and he isn't eating with me then going home so my life is simpler. I hear cheese on toast calling and a night with YNAB & my nana's tips book ;)

Trying to work out what the sum total of my efforts at saving will be over the year by the time I have removed £851 macbook *falls over* plus £1500 to the Jelly savings fund. I think an approx emergency fund of £2250 :) not bad eh tweeps?

I can't see the pics that you link (rubbish computer at work but I have a new one ready to be set up in the new year) so I like when you post a pic as I am not missing out that way :D

Jelly's plate sounds yummy! I want one!

Cheese on toast sounds ACE! I wonder if I can talk LMG into it...

Cheese on toast - yum! Have read your post elsewhere re inlaws in and Him going out. Maybe cheese on toast all round...?

Your savings are awesome - supremely well done Lilty!

Now don't have too much cheese - you know it hurts your tummy...
