Hey guys. Long time no see! Haven't touched my laptop in nigh on a week, crikey!
Mum and dad are here- they got here earlier today so that isn't the reason for my absence. The cold has dragged on and on for both Jelly & I & we have been making the most of time together. So there has been much baking, painting, drawing, dancing and Snowman naming. She has been a little monkey between the cold & teething and so I have been left exhausted between her & work.
Mum is doing well but seems very tired a lot of the time. She gets cold easily so the heating has been on keeping the rooms warmer than usual by a good few degrees. We went out for dinner tonight saving on pots and buying food in, but Jelly was not very well at all and is tending towards a chest infection by the sound of her cough. Doctors tomorrow if no better. She played up badly whilst we were out which is not like her. She was asleep in seconds when we got home and into pyjamas. Hope she sleeps tonight as mum and dad are camped out right outside her bedroom. Mum needs to sit up whilst sleeping so is on my double bed sized sofa. Dad is going to sleep on the camp bed on the living room floor to give her space. Fun times. They wouldn't take my bedroom.
Tomorrow Jelly has nursery and will take the morning to pootle around the shops that are not too busy with mum. Then have to wait in for parcel to be collected in the afternoon and wing its way to Cornwall.
My fleabay items... so all bar one has finished & that one has a bid of £20 on it. I have made the grand sum of £434 without the final one included. I told you I was going to pay for that macbook:rotfl: - of course lots eaten up in fees, tx Payprats and Fleabay, but still I am very chuffed and happy with the extra room in the house too
Got shedloads to catch up on, on here. I have had 4/5 SFD's in the last 5 daysthink I need to finish the xmas shop tomorrow though.
Oh and finally, my 'op' date is through. 30th December so earlier than planned but fits in perfectly with my 19 days off work so will not be missing any time in January and will not have to take holiday in order to get paid for mandatory sick time.
Right off I flit. thanks for thinking of me. xx

So..
New Bt bill in. £70 in credit still :rotfl: - I have not paid them any money since Augustby my reckoning, I have 2.5 months worth of credit still there. And there is still the highly likely option that they will muck up between now and then and give me more credit?
NPower and First Utility are disputing the opening reads I gave them. They decided to use 'industry' estimated reads instead. So I have backed it up with 2 reads within 7 days of each other and have still only just gone over their 'estimate' from October. - this means the £180 worth of credit NPower are holding could be with them for... 364 days longer. Yes truly, they have that long to figure this out between them! I will be kicking up several stinks between now and then if they don't sort it in a timely fashion.
Next up, I have been accepted to FU's warm homes discount scheme, so £140 applied to my account between now and March 31st.
My FD regular saver is full!! :j so I have £3600 plus just under £100 in after tax interest being added to my bank account on Jan 5th!
My Nationwide Current Account is sitting pretty with £1108 credit at 5% interest.
I am feeling pretty lucky and relaxed about money tonight

All good stuff apart from the NP/FU dispute. Awesome eb@y sales too, I really must get back into that! You have inspired me!
Hope Jelly is back to her normal adorable self soon, and you all have a lovely time while Mum and Dad are visiting XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi guys!!!
Lucky we had a dash to the docs last night but Jelly is fine, and just has rolling colds - luckily not gone to her chest. Was given the brilliant info by a pharmacist that from 3 months old she can have piriton syrup to clear up the huge volumes of mucus she has been producing. 2 and a half years late, this info, but good for up til she is 6 and can have proper medicine! It has worked a charm!
SS Bognor here you come by the time the fees have got you!! Pay pal are now charging for transactions as well, so once they have taken their cut and fleabay have had their 10% it looks a lot less pretty! Still, super good luck!! Decluttering is good for the soul methinks!
GP Hello and Henno!! *waves* - I plan on catching up with you over the next couple of nights. Your thread moves too quick for me at the moment with my 5 mins here and there!!Have a great day too!!
Brightspark  ALL of it?! Man you have some serious staying power through all my waffling and ups and downs! Welcome!! Jelly is indeed a little beauty today with tinsel in her hair bunches and reindeer jumper, stripy dress and tights that are both stripy and have reindeers on :rotfl:
Am at work, enjoying sustained sitting down for what feels like the first time all week since I was last at work on Friday! Drinking alternate coffee and tea and plodding through my workload. Need boss in order to do the PI Insurance docs. that comes round quicker every year!
Had a spendy day yesterday. Confused since I bought all of our Xmas PJ's and then when I spoke to Him about him maybe paying for mine (£17) in lieu of a Christmas jumper (which he bought me for £25 and then sold on ebay for £45 as it wasn't very nice) - he got *scrunchy* about it. I have to wonder about my rights to the £45 he made minus fees in that case.. :P or maybe he could pay for his own jamas instead? sometimes the man is insufferable. I can't remember the last time he contributed more than a takeaway to the monthly purse. Granted he is only here 3 days a week. But that is 9 meals...3 days electricity, gas, water etc. £11 at the chippy once a month won't cover it..
Other than that there isn't much to report. Lovely time with parents from Sunday to Monday although mum was sleeping on the sofa and left Jelly awake from 12:30 when I tended to her as she woke coughing, to 4am. I must have zonked and in trying to drown out noise of dad vs upstairs neighbours snoring match, drowned out Jelly talking to herself, giggling and playing. Lol. But it wasn't very funny when I got up in the morning to be told she had been awake for 4 hours like it was my fault. I asked why mum didn't fetch me. She said it didn't bother her as she was awake anyway and she thought I would comenever mind. Other than that and the ensuing tiredness it was a good time!!
Big hugs to all. Hope to be back more regularly shortly, as last 3 days at work now! Jellys final day of nursery too!xx

HIM needs a bit of a sorting I me thinks - I have always been soft with my first and second OH and can say from experience 'let him know what you are thinking'......
Bless Jelly!! Had to smile at her being up for 4 hours. Have mum and dad returned home now then?
Enjoy the next few days at work because I think you will then be off till the new year - unless I have remembered that wrong?!?!?

Hiya!
Brilliant to hear that you're feeling so relaxed on your money at the moment, just don't let it become a bad thing you!
I'm sorry that lil lilt is not feeling great, everyone has been ill recently. Your sleeping through things is something I would expect on ami, so don't feel bad about it!
Well done on the de-clutter, want to work on my house? :rotfl:0 -
Thanks Lilty. Hopefully parents welcomed the chance to spend precious extra time with the Jellytot, :rotfl:
Him is like my OH, slightly too MSE with his own cash, but not with yours!
We are slightly soft touches.
