I have just eaten about 8!!!!!!! What a little poppet, butter wouldn't melt....and I love her jumper. And yay for the leg of lamb. Do you know Lilty I think we knew each other in another life as I worked in Deal at one of the 4 big banks and you lived there!! How spooky..... Enjoy all that food xx

  • See now Lilty, I've no idea why folk get so stressed about Chrimbo - Lil' miss Jellytotster is an exemplar of getting up, getting out, getting what you want and then relaxing into a little restorative snoozette to ensure that one is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the rest of the Feastivities.......... Bravo! :T:T:rotfl:

  • Billie that is super bizarre. They say there are only 6 degrees of separation and all too often I find myself counting and it being correct. There are only 6 degrees between me and David Beckham don'tcha know. Practically family ;) I had never heard of Deal in my life before I met Him on an online game and he grew up and lived there (still does even now but that is his own fault!).

Greying she definitely had the right idea. I spent the afternoon snuggled up next to her with nothing to do but eat a few little treats and listen to some lovely relaxing classical music and watch her :)

My friend is totally ready to pop!! She now has an iPhone after years of rubbish phones, and has sent me loads of imessages and pics of her bump. The day before her due date today!! 9 months has flown and judging by the back ache and slight cramps she is getting, little miss Gertrude could be on the move very soon! I hope for her own sake it isn't Christmas day! I have already sworn that if it is I will be sending her gifts mid year every year!

Jelly took forever to go to sleep. Too much napping :o but it was so enjoyable I couldn't bear to wake her up.

I am settling in with Mr Money M for a bit, then some of my 'tips from your nana' book that mum gave me. :) tomorrow is going to be amazing :D

  • My nephews is today Dawny. I just found out that the best laid plans and all that all went awry when he was given his Xmas presents from me by my mum who has had them since October, along with his bday card which had a voucher inside it for his bday as requested by his mum. He then thought the Xmas gifts were my sister being lazy about birthday wrapping and so he has had both xmas and bday presents today. Whoops! Still he loves me for it all, so I won't complain. I am sure he will have more than enough top open on the big day.

Speaking of which, all the presents are finally here and all presents for others have left us. Now I am left with a living room I can barely move in, and a good portion of the things that are wrapped are flat pack  - lord knows where I shall fit all this!! The one giant thing has been made up and wrapped as if it was going to weather a tornado by FiL. I have been gifted a stanley knife to open it with, but I may in fact need a saw to get through the bubble wrap and cardboard to the wooden kitchen below.

I am getting to the point of anticipation where I feel so buzzy I don't want to and probably can't sleep! The last time I got like this.. Well it was more than 15 years ago! So cannot wait for Jelly to open her presents!
