Night lovely ladies...
Doc said tabs would have a drowsiness effect at first. Will keep an eye on them Gibby. I was reluctant to take them anyway! xx

Dearest Lilt I hope your appt went well. From what I piece together it seems you are one brave lady in constant pain and I really admire you. You are always matter of fact and never whinge. A real inspiration! My dad is an accountant and is now 81! He is sooooo sweet! We tease him a lot as we aren't good at maths at all and he is very particular about numbers!
I hope the doctors went well and you can get some relief. My lower back is damaged as well because of the former husband. Have to be very careful picking up paper clips! It seems to be the small things that set mine off. I bought a cheapish 250 pound memory foam quite soft mattress with savings and it has helped a lot.
Yours sounds dodgier than mine and I really hope it can be helped by your osteo! Hope jelly tots cold gets better soon. I think you are so sensible giving him another chance but also setting boundaries. Good luck!! My fingers and everything are crossed. Xx
By the way the quorn frankfurters are amazing!!With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Hi Gibby Lilty. Thank you for your sleep wishes. Was up again about 3. Just lots on my mind. Had good chat with line manager. We will know more about the fate of the organisation soon. Apparently we should get our heads down and work hard. Which I understand, but I also need to make sure I'm in the best possible position for job hunting. Have got another meeting with an old colleague this week and also plan to see HR. Have also got to ask LM about funding some of my degree this year. Yayy did I mention my student loan been approved (albeit for the wrong course at the minute). Talking on here has cheered me already :-)
Hope Jelly cold is better soon - poor little lamb. And love to Gibby and Lilty. I am a tired, mopey, grumpy, weepy supersaver at the moment and you are my fab support. :-)OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Glad you have got mind straight re OH. When you make that switch that you do not NEED someone in your life but you WANT them in your life - the only way is up for the relationship!

Sorry to hijack, but that's great news about the loan SS (I don't remember you mentioning it). Really positive to know you've that option. It's great to know we can all support each other, and cheerlead when needed (I know you've all done it for me on many occasions!)
Oh no, just imagined myself in a cheerleader outfit. Not good. Put down the biscuit Gib and back away slowly, lol xDebt remaining:

Hello peoples!! What a busy thread!
Dawny Oh my goodness, that just HAS to be done. But now ferrero rocher are on my list again! I have eaten so much chocolate this week it is bonkers! I had to buy new clothes bonkers! :rotfl:
Teapot   all day breakfasts make me feel ill at the thought!!! That is NOT bacon, or an egg... blehhh Have to be honest and say I am not that sure of the difference between a chiropractor and an osteopath! I have had osteo before and found it useful, when my dad took me when I was much younger so went with that. It is some 'movement' aka popping and clicking, but a lot of it is moving my body into the right position, and re-aligning with gentle motions. It is very relaxing. Almost a bit happy clappy sometimes; the guy follows Buddhism etc. But he is very nice, and good at his job. I feel a bit better again today and almost straight!I may even have made it all the way to 5'5 height again! I used to be nearly 5'7, and now I am 5'4 1/2 thanks to the disc disease.
Veronica Hello you!! Hows the move going? Manic I bet! I feel like I complain a lot, mainly because something changes and I end up updating on here! I try not to be negative about it. A lot of positive things going on and I focus on that rather than the original cause & effect
Hopefuljoy WOW at your dad being 81! Is he in good health? My grandparents are 85 this year but both in ill health. Accountancy is supposed to be very good for keeping the mind active, so a love of numbers is great. The irony about my particular choice of career is that I fell into it via admin. I want to do exams and go either the way of the paraplanner of accountant, but not until I am back at work full time once Jellytot is at school! I couldn't handle it all right now, but I really want to further myself
As for ex hubby... My mouth just drops open at that. My injuries were self-inflicted clumsiness on an industrial scale aged 11. As I was so young they couldn't X-Ray me for fear of damaging my young ovaries etc. So I was left with a broken coccyx, which we shall not mention because it makes me squeamish, and a few fractures in my lowest lumbar bones. They healed without medical intervention, as my mum kept telling me that I had 'bruised my coccyx, and it could take 2 years to feel better!' - so I blame myself squarely for things like jack-knifing when diving into a pool (very very nearly paralysed myself, and almost drowned) and falling off a horse, not to mention accidents doing the high jump at school, and a boy at school picking me up, spinning me around and dumping me on a concrete floor when I was younger.
I really feel for you, it seems like you went through a terrible time with him. The more I hear, the more in awe of your fighting spirit I am!
Belle Beautiful BelleI just remembered another Disney film I was obsessed with... The Little Mermaid!
I am mended and better yet Jellytot is MUCH better which is fabby and a weight off my mind. The Osteo said last night I was away with the fairies, and seemed very withdrawn and not quite right. I was still struggling with the pills, but mainly was in lala land thinking about her. I hate leaving her when she is poorly, so was dreading this morning, but she was her usual sunny self, albeit a bit snotty!
Thank you for popping in!!!
SUPERDAAAAAAAVE Yes!! Well done on the loan. Approved is approved, regardless of the course!! Congratulations, that must be a weight off your mind! Really wish I could take some of the strain off those shoulders lovely lady... It isn't healthy to carry around so much. With the job-hunting, and being in the best position.. well from my point of view you are a fantastic candidate for any role, undertaking a new Uni course in such uncertain circumstances. It shows any potential employer that you are willing to work hard and take opportunities. Any company would be lucky to have you!
Gibby No hijacking here, we should start a new diary ''Giblet, SuperSaver & Lilt's Club Crazy" The hook would be 'If you can keep up with our jibberjabber, feel free to join in, pull up a pew and grab a biscuit and a coffee!' :rotfl: :rotfl:
My cheerleader outfit would look something like.. This gallery
*puts down the biscuit.. and gets back to work!*:o:o
