Just rushing out to dig out the hoops in the shed from when DS/DD were little. I have 4 hoops in primary colours, do you think doing 4 at a time will speed up the process?
Big Hugs

Hi Lilty how are you?? Glad to hear the diet is going well again.. I'm starting back on it on Monday. After two weeks of eating bread before dinner every night - it was Greece, I love tzatziki, I'm weak..- I need to get back on it! Big hugs to you and jelly xxLBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Hello boys and girls
Long time no speak again! Thanks for popping in and keeping things warm for me!!
I have to go and collect Jellytot shortly and take her (dressed as a cowgirl for Cowboys and Indians day at holiday club) to the..... PAEDIATRICIAN finally!!! The day has comeI will add a pic of her when I can manage it. I need to come back and update you all.
Life looks a little something like this at the moment:
-Been on holiday for a week and just got back - added 3-4 lbs of water/carb weight. Really need to get back in it so have sat and planned things out. Tonight is stuffed mushrooms (stuffed with lean turkey mince and cheese and herbs)
-Before that I was getting on for almost 2 stones lost!!I've joined a group for accountability and am getting lots of inspiration. I've also switched my diet around from focusing on fat to protein for a while. The fat comes with it but I wanted to test and see how I go with this as I am getting quite sick of eating butter
only another 10lbs to go and I will be where I want to be!
-Exercise is going great. I hula hoop for 30-60 minutes a day depending on what I am doing & got so many comments about my waist being tiny when I was up north. Maybe that is just because my bum looks huge in comparison but I will take it
-Financially - I daren't look. I have bought a LOT of things. It amounts to a decent week away somewhere hot and I don't begrudge it because that would be over by now but I still have a lot to show for it. I do however need to get my butt back in gear.
- Savings... ok.. So Him and I managed a week together with my parents without killing each other. A couple of minor tiffs but nothing major. And we got to discussing certain things... He loved being up in Nottingham. The people are nicer, the shops are better, my friends are there and he likes them a lot... He summed it up in saying the only reason he can think of not to move there is his parents and if that is all that is keeping him then he has no issue with moving. SO... the plan is to save save save between us, for a deposit, on a house in Nottinghamshire. We are giving it 6-7 years. Waiting until Jelly is switching between schools and then we shall move all being well. In the meantime I need to learn to drive, save £40k and get qualified for the job that I do. Work are happy to let me do it and take advantage by not giving me the exams that others have been given despite me being better/more hard working etc. So I will ask about it and if they won't do it, then I shall do it by myself and thats something else to think of.
Other than that.. I am off 90% of my tablets. I am down to amitriptyline only with the odd codeine thrown in once or twice a week as needed. I have noticed things have been worse painless since I gave up on my diet for my holiday so I need to stick to it properly. It is saving me
I will be back. I would say later but I don't know what my evening will pan out like.
Big hugs xxx

Fingers + everything else crossed for a great consultant with Jelly. Dd is now shifted to annual visits - yay!
Good to have you pop by and update us. 'Stuff' seems to be going well in the Lilty household. Love the plans with Him. Do you really need 40k for Notts?
Lots of love xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Apple the 40k is a deposit on a house, not just random money for a move and to faff about with
didn't make that clear :rotfl: - in terms of renting it is getting as expensive there as here so may as well get the deposit ready before we go and buy immediately.
Stuff is good...
Been to the paed and we now have blood tests, stool samples and umpteen other things ongoing. he agrees that things are not right and has said that the ranitidine will fail soon as it isn't meant for long term and that we will then need omeprazole if she can't be without the medication. he was worried about the bouts of gastritis she has had and so things may move further on towards having a look inside to see what is going on if the tests come up negative. She is also, at 3 years and 3 months old, finally being tested for markers for a dairy allergy (well duh) and also gluten and wheat intolerances to check.
All good in the hood! xx

Great to hear from you Lilty, lots of plans for you to start adhering to the rules! Glad that someone is helping out with all the problems that little Jelly appears to have. Miss you postings but understand that life does tend to get in the way. Xxx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0

Yay, sounds like everything is on the up in the house of Lilt. Having long term plans like the move is so exciting!0

WOW! Lots of exciting news there lovely lady and so great to have a plan for moving eventually. Really REALLY happy for you that things are going your way, it's about time!
Such positive news about your tablets too, do you think it's all diet related?
Yay for paediatrician taking Jelly's issues seriously and looking into things further. He's right about the ranitidine too, and as you know, DS was on omeprazole for a long time and it wasn't something I would've liked him to be on permanently (although I have a feeling hell be back on it by the end of the year as the ranitidine doesn't seem to be working for him this time round).
Tres jealous about the small waist, still think I need a hula hoop (and not just the crisp variety:o)
Lots of love to you xx
